John chapter 17 - 17th verse:   Sanctify them through truth; thy word is truth.

Psalms  chapter 119th - 30th verse:   I have chosen the way of truth: thy judegements have I laid before me.

Psalms chapter 15 - 2nd verse:   He that walketh uprightly and worketh righteousness and speaketh the truth in his heart.

Truth is a word that we all honor and respect, because if we're a person of truth it says a lot about the content of our character.  Truth brings to the light all the lies that has been told in darkness. If  we're been dealing with a person of truth, we want have to worry them lying to us or about us.  I'm a person that believe in the true essence of telling the truth.

I think the bible said, the truth will make you free.  If all of this is true , why do we have so many people out there, lying and spreading gossip and untrues about people.  It is so much simpler to tell the honest truth; than to tell an unmitigating lie.

I don't see what anyone get out of a lie.  If we tell a lie we will have to remember what we told the last time to keep it giong, I thnk that is just to much work ; when you can tell the unadulterated truth.  It is so much better to tell the truth in the begining, so we want have to deal wth the embarrassment  of a lie in the end.
