The term “ba gua” is derived from the book of the I-Ching, a sacred text used to tell the future. But while the word may sound foreign or unfamiliar to you, ‘Feng Shui Ba-gua’ is one of the most basic and fundamental tools of Feng Shui for Feng Shui beginners or anyone who wants to get initiated into practicing Feng Shui.
Feng Shui font (and Feng Shui consultant font) is used in the Feng Shui ba-gua, which is the "map of Feng Shui". The ba-gua divides any space into nine areas. Each area corresponds to a different aspect of your life. Whatever is going on energetically (good or bad) in that part of your space will affect the related aspect of your life
To prepare Feng Shui house plans (and interior design of each of the rooms, e.g., Feng Shui bedroom), a Feng Shui master uses the Feng Shui ba-gua as a guide.
All these are necessary to arrange things in our home to increase positive energy and improve our home life quality and ensure perfect harmony of Feng Shui in the home.
Because Feng Shui is a combination of art and science, you will find its principles carried through all areas of these subjects from architecture to astronomy to decorating and design. In fact, the same principles that define science itself also could be applied to the ancient practice of Feng Shui as well.
