SOME COOL TIPS FOR YOUR GOURMET CUP OF COFFEE.

What is THE RIGHT temperature for your gourmet coffee cup?
Well most people think that for the perfect coffee cup you should pour
steamed water straight from your kettle to your coffee cup.
Though it is common belief, it is also wrong thing to do.
When pouring steamed water to your cup of coffee and then adding milk,
the water which are too hot will "burn" the milk and will damage the taste .
Milk is pasteurized in the temperature of 63 C degrees and the right temperature for
your cup of gourmet coffee should be about 67 C degrees that way the milk is not ruined
and your coffee has better taste.

For a perfect cup of coffee roast your own gourmet coffee.

Roasting your own coffee can be fun .
It takes between 3 minutes up to 30 and the
temperatures are varied between 380 to 480 F ,
all depends on how you prefer your gourmet cup of coffee.
There four stages of roasting coffee: light roasting, medium,
high roast which is preferred among many because
it gives good balance and flavor for the coffee .
The last stage is Espresso.
Roasting your own coffee keeps it fresh as it can be,
and with much flavor as possible.
Surely roasting coffee will give it a better taste,
and at your home as bonus will be wonderful fragrance .
The process itself probably will be enjoyable and make
you love your cup of coffee a little bit more.

99% of your gourmet cup of coffee is water , so make a water investment!

Well I don't know if I can add anything to the sentence above .It is really that simple
Most of your coffee is made from water, so it is quite obvious that the influence of water
to the taste of your coffee is enormous. Make sure, when drinking gourmet coffee to use
only quality water with good taste. You will be surprised to see the difference .

Grind Your Coffee Beans.

You should always make sure your coffee is fresh. Grinding the coffee beans
is the ultimate way to have a fresh coffee which tastes much better.
You must keep in mind that storing coffee in your house for
long periods of time damages your coffee taste.
Some people say it is best to store the coffee beans in the freezer for longevity .
Indeed this is true, but remember not to grind the coffee beans when they are cold.
When talking about grinding coffee we must know a bit about the
grinding equipment used to grind the coffee.
Generally, though there are several types of coffee grinders,
there are two main categories: blade grinders and burr grinders.
The blade grinders are easier to clean and are less expensive than the bur grinders.
However there are few disadvantages in using this type .
The first that when using blade grinders usually don't grind
the coffee beans consistently as other types.
The second disadvantage is that when grinding with
blade grinder it can produce a large amount
of heat which is not quite good. The principle behind burr grinders
is to use moving surface and non moving surface to crush the coffee beans.
Wheel burr though working quickly make a lot of noise .
The conical burrs are the perfect choice because they don't make
too much noise and the grind of the coffee beans
is very consistent. The disadvantage is that they are more expensive.

Have you heard about the luwak?

A "cat like" mammal certainly knows some things about gourmet coffee beans.
So, what is the connection between a Luwak –cat size mammal and the best coffee in the world?
The luwak lives in the forests of Asia loves eating fruits, and that means also coffee berries.
This animal because of its passion to fruits usually considered to be a nuisance .
However, when it comes to coffee, this funny looking mammal is the "golden goose ".
Apparently not only that he knows to choose the coffee berries when they are at their
best But also the beans which can't be fully digested in the luwak stomach expelled outside,
but only after the juices in the luwak stomach already stripped away the bitterness .
These juices also because of the way they interact with the bean give the coffee bean a great flavor.
The coffee from these beans considered to be the best gourmet coffee in the world.
One pound of this coffee can cost you up to 600 $ and they say it worth every cent. ?
