The maintenance of a swimming pool is very difficult and due to this reason many people go for a swimming pool made of fiberglass. This material is very simple to clean since algae and other dirt will not hang on to the surface as found on the other pools. The article is very informative regarding this subject.
I live in Florida and I've been thinking of putting a lap pool in my yard but I just didn't want to mess with all the maintenance that would be required. This sounds like the perfect solution !!!
You brought up many points that I had not realized before about the differences fiberglass and concrete pools. Living in Florida, we are always looking for pools that are durable and yet easy to care for. And then there are the strong winds and rain of hurricane season. It is nice to know there is a poduct that will look good and is durable enough to withstand any weather beating, including the strong sun.
This is a very good article. Previously I hadn't even considered purchasing a swimming pool because there are so many maintenance costs with time and money involved. I definitely like the low maintenance side of fiberglass pools. When I get my house I will definitely check into getting one.
This is a well written article. It helps me with my decision to purchase a pool. There are many factor involved in my decision. Fiberglass seems to be a great way to go as far as pools go. When we do decide to purchase our first pool, I will now definitely consider a fiberglass pool.
I wish I would have known about fiberglass pools when I bought one a few years back. I have a concrete pool with a vinyl liner over it and there have been instances where the concrete has cracked and little pieces have fallen off. When you rub your foot or hand over the liner, you can feel the bumps of the hard concrete pieces. I am starting to get very nervous that they will cut through the liner eventually and now I will need a whole new liner. I advise anyone getting a pool to go for the fiberglass options out there! Save yourself the aggrevation.
This was a very interesting article, I've never been in a fiberglass pool, but I have had several friends with concrete swimming pools who are always complaining about them. Now I have an alternative to suggest.
The one thing I think this article would have benefitted from is a bit of cost comparison? How much more does a fiberglass pool cost in relation to a concrete pool?
Other than that minor detail this was an excellent, informative, and entertaining post. Thank you.
