The Fiji Beaches are ranked as some of the most breathtaking in all of the world. Viti Levu Beaches

One of the most popular stretch of beaches is found on the main island of Viti Levu. The island itself is very muddy and filled with mangrove forests, however there is one section of the island that is truly magnificent, the Coral Coast.

The Coral Coast is considered by many to contain some of the best beaches in all of Fiji. The resorts, on Viti Levu, contain beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal blue lagoons and palm trees.

Unfortunately one of the big draw backs of Viti Levu is that it is not recommended for snorkeling. When the tide goes out there are dead reefs exposed. If you decide to stay on the island of Viti Levu you will have to travel travel by boat to an offshore coral reef for snorkeling.

Mamanuca Beaches

Mamanuca is a group of islands which is located west of the main Fiji Island. The Mamanuca islands are known as Fiji’s playground. These are smaller volcanic islands that feature coral atolls.

The Mamanuca islands are home to a number of fantastic Fiji beaches. Whenever I have visited Fiji I mostly stayed on Mamanuca is the island resorts are built alongside the excellent beaches and feature restaurants, sunset bars and water activities.

The Mamanuca beaches are adjacent to the gorgeous sea that is warm and ideal for diving and snorkeling. These Fiji beaches are the gateway to the “sea of life”. Each night you can enjoy the the sunset which settles over these beautiful beaches.

The Southern Islands

The Fiji Southern Islands contain a number of inaccessible and rugged coastlines that create the backdrop of secluded paradise.

Many of the Southern Island beaches are located next to a resort and allow guests the opportunity to relax on, romantic cove beaches, these are perfect for privacy. If total privacy is what you are looking for then I suggest the Fiji Beach of Nooki Nooki Island. This is a very small beach which you will need to access via boat or catamaran and is lined with coconut trees.

The area of Kadavu, which is also part of the Southern Islands, has much smaller beaches which are absolutely beathtaking. The island is great for hiking as it features a number of local trails that lead through the rainforest to totally secluded beaches. The beaches, of the Southern Islands, are perfect for a romantic getaway.

Yasawa Island

The beaches, of Yasawa, feature private lagoons that are perfect for relaxing and exploring. For many the Yasawa beaches are considered to be the best because of its private appeal. It is here that you can relax and sunbake on a white sandy beach all to yourself, for the whole day.

The island of Yasawa has the most incredible stretches of white beaches and beautiful, inviting crystal blue lagoons. There are a number of tiny neighboring islands, in which you can own your own private beach for the day.

No matter what your purpose is for traveling to Fiji the Islands contain the perfect beach and will cater to all of your needs. You can spend a warm sunny day, in the sea, watching the life pass through the colorful coral reef, or take that special someone to a secluded beach, for a romantic afternoon.
