Filipino Jazz Pianist - Jojo Jose
66
"Bato Sa Buhangin" (Stone in the Sand) - original was theme song in the movie Bato Sa Buhangin starring Fernando Poe Jr. and Vilma Santos, now Batangas Governor
Jojo Jose "The Days of Wine and Roses" by Henry Mancini
I found this Filipino Jazz artist, Jojo Jose, on the internet while I was looking for many renditions of the song “The Prayer” popularized by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
I was really impressed and mesmerized by his performance. The way I look at it, he’s a professional musician. He even composes and arranges some of his songs. He plays both Filipino and foreign songs very well. He is so gifted and talented. I wish I can play piano like him. I really love to learn to play jazz on piano because I like listening to smooth jazz music. I’ll try to find where to buy his CDs for my collection and maybe find easy piano music sheets to play some of his songs.
His family must be very proud of him. I am also proud of him being a Filipino that's why I showcase his God-given talent here on my hubpages.
Following are my favorites. I can listen to him all day. It’s so relaxing and soothing. Hope you like them too. Enjoy watching and listening to all the videos!
