Ingredients :

  • 1 medium carrot, cut into strips (1 cup)
  • ¾ cup snow peas (75 g)
  • 1 medium head pechay (100 g), coarsely sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 20 medium shrimps (1/4 k.), shells removed
  • 2 squares tofu, fried and cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 buko(coconut)
  • meat cut into 1-1/2" x ¼" strips

Procedure :

  1. Stir fry carrots, snow peas and pechay in 1 tbsp. oil until snow peas is cooked. Set aside.
  2. Saute garlic and green onions in a little oil. Add shrimps, tofu, tomato sauce and shrimp juice. Season with 1 tbsp. soy sauce and ½ tbsp. fish sauce. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Add buko(young coconut) and continue simmering for 2 minutes. Stir vegetables and simmer once.

Makes 6 servings.
