Creating Movie Lists Has Never Been This Easy

FilmCrave is one of the first sites to allow movie lovers to create true custom movie lists with ease. Not only can you add a movie to one of the predefined lists - such as "best sci fi movies" you can also create your own - such as "movies I never get tired of." It is this way of thinking that sets FilmCrave apart from some of the others.

It begins with the ease of use. Members can add movies directly to their lists via the instant search box at the top and they can also go to virtually any other movie lists or movie page to add it to the list. From there, users can drag and drop to reorder the list in which case it is instantly saved. Another notable point is the way that the lists are computed. An overall top movie list is computed into the the final Tally of votes and rankings for the FilmCrave.com Top 100 Movies of All Time. Currently, the list does not reflect the best of movies, but it is fairly mainstream, so this is to be expected. A right side profile allows the member to switch back and forth easily as to what movie list to add to and display.

In addition to movie lists, filmcrave is also a source for member generated recent movie reviews- which are easy to create via ajax pop ups - and other social interaction. Members are encouraged to tell friends which movies they have recently see and which they want to see.

FilmCrave is a new kind of social networking site that depends on it's niche to be successful. As it stands currently, there is no slowing down this movie buff.

I saw this one in IMAX and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The action was fantastic, special effects were great and Optimous Prime kicked some ass. Sure it was a little hoakey at time, but it is...

  • Never Back Down (1.5/4 Stars)

The director did some good camera work, and choreographed some cool looking fight scenes. For some reason though, those didn't even catch my eye. The story was dull, and extremely predictable. One co...

  • Iron Man (2/4 Stars)

I was really underwhelmed by this movie. Terrence Howard was good perhaps, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey, Jr. did nothing for me. I really don't like comic book movies and will probably not w...

  • He's Just Not That Into You (3.5/4 Stars)

I had heard more bad then good about this movie. With low expectations, this movie turned out to be really good and I really, really liked it. The story line between Jennifer Aniston and Ben Afelck's...

  • In the Company of Men (0.5/4 Stars)

Neil LaBute is educated and refined, but you'd never know that from watching this film. It is pure evil and filth, an exercise in brutality. Even though LaBute has fared pretty well in his career (wi...
