Financial Domination
74For most people, the term ‘piggy bank' makes us think of a ceramic or plastic oinker with a slot cut out of the top, hollow and ready to hold all our pennies and pocket lint. However, in the world of fetish and bondage, a piggy pet, pay piggy, money slave or paypet is the term for a submissive who offers their submission via ‘tributes' - money or object gifts.
Purpose of the Paypet
For the submissive in a financial slavery situation, there is a boundary which is not crossed, and that is the end of the scene. After a session with a Dom(me) the submissive goes about their life, holding sway and control over their daily operations unless they live with their chosen Dominant. When in service to a Dom(me,) a submissive experiences a full range of emotions, sensations and explores their own psyche amidst the gentle or harsh ministrations of their Dom(me.)
It is not hard to imagine, given this information, that a submissive who craves more would offer more than the simple time and servitude inside a scene, would delve into the world of financial servitude as well. A person whose desire to serve a more dominant figure in every possible fashion gives their time, their emotions and their life into the hands of the one they serve, so why not pass the checkbook over as well?
FinDom
A Money Dom(me) demands not only the respect and service of their submissives, but also receives cash or gifts called ‘tributes.' A tribute is the offering of a submissive which acknowledges the Dom(me)'s higher station in the relationship, and once accepted shows the submissive the approval of the Dom(me).
Some dominants who practice this form of bondage refer to themselves as Professional Dominants, meaning they accept a fee or tribute in exchange for time in a dungeon or other bondage sessions. There is a great deal of debate as to the closeness of a professional dominant to prostitution, the main focus of the debate hinging on the fact that sexual contact in a D/s (Dominant/submissive) relationship is entirely voluntary.
Be Informed and Prepared
When getting acquainted with, or preparing to engage in BDSM activities with a money Dom(me) or Professional Dominant, always do your homework. Ensure that you will be cared for in a safe, sane and consensual manner. The first question out of a pro-domme's mouth should not be "How big is your tribute?" It should be "What would you like to know about our upcoming time together?"
At the core of this fetish rests a simple principle: humiliation and extremes in service. Notice that bankruptcy is not one of the aforementioned principles. Your Dom(me) should always keep your continued growth and success in mind. Draining your bank account may sound like a good idea on paper, but only if your Dominant is prepared to further control your everyday life by providing the necessities for you.

LOL thanks!! I tried really hard to keep it focused, there is a whole other world that 'normal' people don't really get to encounter. It's great writing about stuff like this, too, because there isn't a lot of recorded information to be had on the topic. A lot of the stuff out there is either in discontinued books or is personal knowledge gained from living inside the BDSM scene, which is a whole new cookie in and of itself. :D Makes my job easier!
Very true. Plus because there's not much known about the topic, it makes your hub all the more unique and different. Good for traffic. ;-)
Fascinating - I definitly learnt a thing or 2 ! Can I ask a dumb question - is dom(me) the male/female form and which is which?
Sure is, Lissie, a Dom is the masculine, Domme is the feminine form. I'm really glad I could share information with you!
Even an old hen like me learns a thing or two once in awhile. True eye opener for me. Fun read, gamergirl.
Is that how you get your kicks (joke!) ?
Angela- you're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
About-the-Home - not really. I like having money, but it's not one of my fetishes. ;)
Boy is this an eye-opener for me with my coffee this morning!! I am impressed - great work. Of course, I had no idea about any of this stuff. You're sure to get some good traffic, etc!
Thanks Steph!! I'm glad you had a chance to read it. :D
You explained this relationship very well. I have a friend who was in a DS relationship years ago, and I never understood it. She wasn't forthcoming in explaining it, and I never found resources to explain it in a way I could understand. Thanks for the enlightenment.
In your hub, I tripped up on the Dom(me) construction, thinking that you were setting the stage to talk in the first person as the Dom. That's how ignorant I am about this subject!
I'm going to be writing a series of hubs on D/s soon, so please feel free to become my fan and watch for them. :D
I'm a financial dominatrix http://www.worshipthequeen.com
You left out the part where boys love to "pretend" it's not consensual and have a bitchy, mean, and demanding domme :)
Great article!
LOL You're quite right. Got space for a donation button pointed at my Paypal? :P
What are the qualifications for becoming a financial dom?
Great blog... ;)
Thank You for the very informative and non-judgmental article. As a Financial Dominatrix I am always asked a lot of questions by people who do not understand what I do and there is really not much unbiased information out there to read about it.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I enjoyed reading your article,
Its a facinating world of give and take, I enjoy every minute of my work.
I have my own money Mistress site, you might like to take a look if you fancy a look into the interesting and exciting world of femdoms!

Thanks for visiting, SJ. I may be in touch to see about the possibility of working together. ;-)
"Some dominants who practice this form of bondage refer to themselves as Professional Dominants, meaning they accept a fee or tribute in exchange for time in a dungeon or other bondage sessions." This comment simply is not true, not in the context of financial domination. A moneyslave is exactly like the footslave, the smokeslave, the painslave..etc...only the moneyslave seeks to be objectified as a piggybank, credit card, atm machine...nothing more...there IS NO EXCHANGE INVOLVED!! No guaranteed bdsm session..NOTHING...and therein lies the rush for the financial slave..not knowing if they will even or ever gain the approval of the domme. Why is it males try to answer questions they clearly don't understand, or discuss matters they don't have a clue about?? LOL.
Hi Mayhem. Thanks for visiting. I'm a female, as my profile name and such should suggest.. now, on to your comment:
Professional Dominatrixes, the object of the paragraph you snipped, DO exchange money for their time, be it in a dungeon or simply out on the town, or whatever the ProDomme demands. They DO practice a form of financial domination which is somewhat different from the paypig scenario that is more commonly used in conjuncture with humiliation, tease and denial and the like.
:)
i feel a money domme must be beautiful! perfect body, face, legs etc. just perfect better than the typical males wife or why spoil, worship her. Not all dommes are fit for financial domination.
I've been a FinDomme online for almost 6 years now. What a headache!
I have to disagree with you there, bell. Though good looks do appeal to a lot of potential subs out there. I think that experience is a lot more important. Why faun over a "super model" if she doesn't know what she's doing?
Domination is something that takes a lot more than appearance. If looks = money, then Findom might as well be a camgirl/porn-star, or *gasp* prostitution fetish.I think that's perpetuating the wrong message to the community. Which is why so many instadommes are popping up all over the place and disappearing as quickly as they came.
