Dream, Believe, Reach it!

Financial Freedom Online

I'm sorry about the title. It just amuse me there are many books and articles written about financial freedom - and some are telling 4 steps to financial freedom, some say 5, and in one published book, it says 9. I say 1 million steps!

Why? Because chasing financial freedom is almost impossible - unless you are already filthy rich, or you have a steady and stable passive income stream. Financial freedom describes a well-planned lifestyle where one is no longer required to work for income to cover for their expenses. How great is this? You can now do everything you ever wanted - without minding spending.

Contrary to popular belief, it does not require being free of debt, as a debt payment is just another expense. Typically, “Financial Freedom” can be attained in one of two ways (or a combination of the two):

  1. Enough passive investment income to cover one’s expenses.
  2. A large enough “nest egg” that can be liquidated over time to cover one’s expenses.

To achieve financial freedom, one of these are typically popular routes:

  • Property or Real Estate Investment
  • Internet Marketing
  • Trading
  • Owning a Business System

Ways to Financial Freedom

New Ways to Financial Freedom

Okay, that’s enough for a primer, this post is only about chasing it - how to be financially free. I’m not in the position to speak about it - but here’s my straightforward idea of it -

  1. start by being frugal - spend only for the essential things.
  2. save up a fixed percentage of all your cash inflows, say 10% or 20% of your income every time.
  3. invest in a small risk lucrative business venture - or if you can’t you can simply put your money in a bank or join a cooperative.
  4. do extra side jobs - like tutorials, internet publishing, real estate
  5. invest in vending machine businesses. Yes, you only have to refill them like once a week, and gather the money. It's more like of a low maintenance way of income.
  6. Enroll in adsense and post articles to hubpages, infobarrel, blogspot, squidoo..! - you can't believe doing this can make you financially free? Try posting 1 million hubs or articles on a variety of topics. CourtneyTuttle, wanna dare?Hah!
  7. Ask for alms. I think beggars are kinda financially free. They are carefree - they don't ave bills to pay. Although they only have little and depends only from other's pity, they don't pay for mortgage, or debts!
  8. Be an online marketer. Go with the flow and look out what products are the best sellers online. Then join the fad. With the average 20% commission on sales, sky is the limit! Your earnings will be directly proportional to the sales you made! It will give you some guilt though - talking trash and most times using trickery just to get sales.
  9. Go to a casino or play any game of chance like lotto. I am not encouraging you to do this, but hope you win.
  10. Extend a helping hand to others - good karma is real!

Whew! I said 1 million steps, right? Ok, Just reapeat this steps 100,000 times through your lifetime, and I am almost certain you will be financially free by then. (because you are dead already!) Aw, just kidding! Hehe

Good luck to all of us to our quest to financial freedom!
