Natures bounty shipped to the city from the country
Natures bounty shipped to the city from the country

Living in a city, like Las Vegs, especially in the middle of the desert doesn't give much opportunity to enjoy the natural beauties and bounties of a countryside in the other states.

We can give thanks, though, that farmer's, plant nurseries and other agricultural and horticultural producers find ways to share their harvests and production with those of us who live in the city.

Just in time for the fall harvest and Thanksgiving Holidays are these wonderful shades of red, yellow, gold and orange to place around and inside our homes to bring the colors and feel of Autumn to our asphalt and concrete jungle.

Pumpkins

Little orange fleshed pumpkins can be used for a decoration and they can be eaten, too.

There are so many different recipes and ways to use the pumpkin after the party is over and the decorations are taken down.

For a great little gift to take along for a host/hostess of a Thanksgiving dinner or other party, there is a little bit of nature in a pot.  Live plants that can be grown indoors to brighten up a room and add a little oxygen to the air too.

Natural Wreaths

Wreaths that are hung on doors to welcome visitors are typically made from different kinds of shrub, tree and fruits available of the season. A wide variety of wreaths can be found pre made or the different parts can be collected or purchase to make an individual unique wreath that represents your lifestyle and creativity. A wreath can also be placed in the middle of a large dining table as a decoration.

Nature provides us with so many things that can be used as decorations and gifts that are natural and bio-degradable. Going green and using nature's bounty can be other colors too.
