Find Your Perfect Match
58How To Find Your Perfect Match
Ending a relationship whether long term or short term can leave you feeling alone, scared and anxious with the decision of entering back into the so called “Dating Scene.” You probably find yourself wondering how to find your perfect match. Everyone seems to have advice on how, when and where to search for your ideal partner. They will be happy to give you their advice and however great their intentions, be careful not to spend too much time searching in places you do not want to be.
Unfortunately, there is no “Perfect” place to look and no clear cut answer to your question. People newly entering the “Dating Scene” generally head back out to bars or clubs to meet their mate. Spending time in these places may turn out to be the best place for you, however there are many that will get “burned” out in their search at a bar or club. Not everyone is a person who enjoys these types of environments. There are many places to meet new people. You meet people everyday, at the store, gas station, the library (If only there were a manual “How to find your perfect match”) and at church. It is important to seek out people who will have the same common interests and goals you do. Spending time with other people that you have things in common with is always a rewarding experience. Everyone has had a time in their life where they have found themselves with someone they have nothing in common with. These situations are generally not only unrewarding but difficult everything from conversation to basic function becomes a chore. How nice it would be to be able to “weed-out” these incompatible people before you are sitting across from them in a fancy restaurant searching for conversation.
Online dating is a popular answer for How to find your perfect match? Online dating allows you to not only be matched only with those people with whom you have common interests, but to speak with them on your terms getting to know them as quickly as you wish. Searching through profiles you can pick and choose people with whom you have common interests and likes/dislikes. This allows you more time to meet and connect with more people and narrow down your search to only those that meet your specific standards. If you choose to meet anyone in person and advance your relationship you start out on your date with the comfort of knowing you will not be stuck with uneasy conversation.
So, how to find your perfect match, there is again no clear cut answer. However imagine this, a date at your favorite restaurant with a date who finds the restaurant as unappealing as you find them. Enduring uneasy conversation while searching for things to say, staring at your plate and spending your wasted evening learning how incompatible you and your date truly are. Now that you know how rewarding that wasted time could have been spent searching through and hand picking ideal mates without leaving your home. How will you find your perfect match?
