Find the Lizard
51A welcome visitor to our home.
See if you can find this recent visitor to our home. This is the second time he has come to the window to watch us.
Or maybe he has come for tea, he does like to hang out by the teacups.
Knight Anole
I believe that our visitor is a Knight Anole and he is approx. 12 inches long including his tail. From the information I have found so far it is a he. These are not native to South Florida but have become common at least for me as this is the second one I have seen at different locations.
He is a very welcome addition to our little tropical paradise not only because I love to see any type animals but also because he eats lots of insects. This is a highly prized trait here in Florida.
The Green Knight
I have dubbed my new friend "The Green Knight" and have high hopes he will move right in and raise a family. I haven't seen a female yet but I have high hopes.
In my eyes he is perfect. A Nature Pet whom I don't have to take care of and a natural insect control. What better friend could you have.

Thanks
They are sometimes hard to see, I don't know how long he was looking at me before I saw him.
Nice job with the pics. I really had to look hard to find him in some of them!
I grew up with the "Where's Waldo" books and could not find "The Green Knight" in the first few pictures either. I could always do the "3-D Eye" pictures though. What a fun hub. I look forward to news of mama and baby lizards, hopefully.
I really love the pictures, he is so interesting to look at. I really do hope he mates and you get pictures of the family. What a welcome addition to any area, you are so lucky.
You know what he needs? A little wizard's hat.
I just Love the way you took the Picture. Really nice
Regards
