Find your Life Within Your Life
56Focus on your strengths
In watching Oprah Winfrey today, I found some inspiring thoughts to blog about today.
84% of people in the workforce are unhappy with their jobs. Have you ever felt this way about your boss? "You deplete me!" (instead of you complete me!)
Wow, that's a huge number. Most people are feeling overwhelmed, underappreciated, and overworked. 4 out of 5 people hate their jobs. This is so sad.
You have to put your strengths to work. If you're going to win in life you have to flip that switch. You must focus on your strength or passion. You must find your life within your life and focus on what makes you feel strong, special, and unique. People are so torn with having to take away from valuable family time and are faced with the decision to choose between their children and their careers.
Instead of trying to squeeze our families into our work life, we need to reverse that and put our families and our selves to the forefront. If what you are doing is bringing you negative energy, stop it!
"Day by day as you go on and on, as you gain momentum, as your inspiration deepens, as your plans crystalize, as you gain understanding, you will come to realize that this world is no dead pile of stones and timber, but that it is a living thing! It is made up of the beating hearts of humanity. It is a thing of life and beauty."---quote from The Master Key System
Life is way too short to spend it doing something that we dispise. It has a huge effect on our health. Being unhappy in your work life will end up putting you in the hospital. The stress from being miserable has terrible effects on your body.
The first steps to overcoming these issues is to find something that you are passionate about, and that you are good at, and emphasize it, maximize upon it. Don't focus on your weaknesses, focus on your strengths.
Soon you will find yourself more fulfilled, and you will stop tearing yourself apart. If you have a huge passion to blog on hubpages about your favorite topic, make a career out of it!
We are all blessed with uniqueness. Your JOB, is to find out what your real calling is. If you can't quit your job that you hate, at least on a part time level, give yourself some quiet time to figure out what your calling is. Once you find out what that is, you will see everything start coming together.
I would like everyone to try this exercise that I took from the Master Key System:
"Select a room where you can be alone and undisturbed; sit erect, comfortably, but do not lounge; let your thoughts roam where they will but be perfectly still for fifteen minutes to half an hour; continue this for three or four days or for a week until you secure full control of your physical being."
This is absolutely essential to secure complete control of the body before you are rady to progress. Next week you will receive instructions for the next step; in the meantime you must master this one.

Good information you have shared with us. Most of us are too busy earning money and yes do sometimes put the rest of the family second. Thanks for sharing that

On occasion I watch Oprah, but unlike most of American Women, I'm not that keen on her. I feel she tends toward a holier than thou attitude and she says she doesn't judge (with her words) but her body language says different. Anyway, I do watch her sometimes if she has some one of interest on. This sounds like I missed a good show today. Good Work. I'm looking forward to the next post.
