Why Do Guys Look for Sex on the Net?

I'm sure anyone who is familiar with craigslist has taken a peek at the personals section--specifically the "casual encounters" section. Perhaps you have even used this site to find sexual partners. Perhaps you've contracted an STD for being a craigslist nympho. Be that as it may, I pose a question to you out there in cyber land: Why are so many men looking for sex on craigslist, especially in light of the fact that men out number women 10 to 1, and of the few posts allegedly placed by women, perhaps 10% are genuine?

With such poor odds coupled with the fact that these guys have no idea who they're talking to, guys nevertheless persist in attempting to find sexual partners on this site, when in fact it's probably easier, given the right approach, to meet women in person! A guy who has no game in real life is not about to be given a pass by some girl just because he found her on the net. To the contrary, guys are likely to have a heavy presumption of loserdom to overcome...assuming they even get to meet the gals.

Guys and Girls, I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter, either via comment or in the polls.

Guys look for sex on the net for the same reason women do.

Most people believe the net is safe from thier identities. Actually, one would be safer cruising in a local bar or newspaper want ad. Remember "The Pina Colada Song "? The net tracks EVERYTHING you do. Spyware, phishing, ect... you are known by more people than you know. Men and women may not feel appreciated or the fire has died. It is essential to WORK on a relationship and have empathetic patience. Many people go into relationships with the best of intentions only to find incompatabilities from intelectual to sexual. Remember, most on line companies PAY for your private information. Private business tracks you closer than the government! Ever notice how you can emails and advertisements soon after you did a general search? There are web companies who will track ANYONE for a fee including hacking into your email. I know, I had it happen to me. Even anti viruses will sell your information. Like that old song " Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places " should be updated to include these internet sites. The place is most likely living with you!
