I’ve had moment of awareness. They have been very rewarding and very scary. Sometimes I was floating on air and at other times I didn’t know what was happening. I thought I was loosing it mentally. It’s the latter times that I want to talk about first.

I wasn’t thinking, I just was and my ego freaked out. My ego went into overdrive trying to regain control. I actually thought I was going crazy in a sense. Let me explain.

I grew up in a family that had to watch money. One grandfather a coalminer the other a banker. Money was always on the forefront my parent’ minds. I started earning money to buy my own clothes when I was in 5th grade, money was my ticket to freedom.

‘Go to college so you can get a better job than me’ was my father’s mantra. Adding, ‘You make more money being the boss, than a labor like me.’ Money is the measure of your worth as a human being on earth was the clear unspoken rule at our house.

You can imagine the shock I had when I made enough money as the owner/boss of a technical writing firm to have pretty much whatever I wanted. Then, I started to realize that money bought a certain level of security and ease of existence in our money-based society, but the shock came when I discovered that money didn’t and couldn’t buy me happiness.

I happily relinquished my thoughts because I had that monetary security. I knew the mindset of money. I wanted to know the mind of spirituality. I became an active seeker which started my personal mission to document what I learned and share it with the world so you wouldn’t have to struggle as I did.

I sold my technical writing business, my guaranteed livelihood, assuming that the awakened aware me would breeze into this next part of my life with grace and ease and the money would flow in. Didn’t Joseph Campbell tell us that if we followed our bliss the money would come. Well, I forgot to consult my ego - it freaked out big time and went bezerk trying to regain control – looking for any and every opportunity to be in charge.

The inner struggle began

Well, I started writing spiritually-based material. It actually seemed that the material wrote me rather than me writing it. It was easy, fun, satisfying and brought me great joy.

Then, I re-entered the world of business as a marketer of Spiritual material. My ego seized its chance and took over. I was not ready for that, and I didn’t do great. I became discouraged because I had embraced the ‘mind of Spirit’ and it wasn’t working. My ego took over saying that the mind of Spirit doesn’t work in this earthly realm. You were a fool to believe.

My ego went on to say that it’s hard work, persistence, and, by the way, you have to do it alone. Don’t whatever you do get a business partner, that’s sure insanity. It will only cause you heartache in the long-run and why share all the profits.

Wrong! Really wrong! My passion is writing and sharing practical application of spiritual principles. I love writing about A New Earth in terms of my life experiences. I can apply the principles to my life and give real examples. I know people love real-life stories of struggle and overcoming that struggle. It gives them hope.

But, I do not do the detailed and research work required of a successful internet marketer. My ego says – don’t share. My heart says – share. The practical part of me says I can keep it all for myself – 100% of nothing is nothing. Or, I can get a business partner and share the profits.

Internet marketing isn’t it my work? Yes, the writing is my work or work that comes through me. The marketing however is not my work, it is not my passion, and it is a necessary part. So ego, I need and want help.

Ego, I want the space between the thoughts back. And, no that space is not the hole in a donut!

My conscious intention is to develop a wonderfully successful partnership with a person who does internet marketing consciously – the way I do my writing and my products.(If you know someone pass this along to them.)

That awareness of the mind of Spirit within you is awakening of your consciousness. Your irresistible definition of true love is that unconscious definition of love, your personal definition of love, brought to the conscious level. Once you know your definition, you can rest in its knowingness.

Your irresistible definition of true love begins within yourself and then manifests in the world as the real you, the true you, the essence of you. And, my friend when you take that YOU into the world, your true love will find you.
