Firefox Tip: Use Keyboard controls to navigate pages faster
48
This is a useful tip I learnt today and I want to share with you. Instead of using arrows with your mouse to navigate between pages (forward or backward), use the following:
Press the “ALT” key and then either the left arrow (to move to the previous page) or the right arrow (to move to the next page) in your keyboard.
Use (“ALT” + “-->”) or (“ALT” + “<--”) to navigate between pages.
Makeuseof.com says you can then remove the navigation keys in the toolbar, but I use them when you have to go backwards say the previous 10 pages.
Another interesting Firefox tips using your keyboard is the “Complete” Task. Instead of typing http://www.google.com on the URL or location bar (http://..), use “Ctrl” key and “enter” in the keyboard after you type Google in the URL. This is a much faster way.
To go to the location bar without using the mouse, press “CTRL” + “L” and then type Google and press “CTRL” + “Enter” button in the keyboard to go to Google.com.
