Children are gifts to us. They are special in a way nothing can ever be. But the first child will always be special no matter how equal we want to be. This is because mothers experience new feelings, emotions and perspectives during their first pregnancy. They will have already gone through the process during the second and consecutive pregnancies. Thus, the feeling is slightly different. Mothers may feel guilty for not feeling the same way they did during their first but don't worry. Just let all your children know that they are loved. And younger siblings, do not be jealous of your elder ones. This is just part and parcel of life. We can't help the way we feel.
