Elmo Live is the most advanced Elmo ever, able to cross its leg, flap its arms, and mimic the famous Sesame Street muppet Elmo. In this truly life-like creation, for the first time ever, Elmo seems to actually be speaking as his mouth opens and closes. Elmo can even blow kisses!

According to Fisher Price, Elmo Live is supposed to show what Elmo would do if he actually came to your house.

He waves his arms, sits and stands, even crosses his legs all the while telling stories and jokes, singing songs and playing games. Children can activate the magic with a tickle or a squeeze of Elmo's foot, tummy, back or nose.

Official launch date for Elmo Live is October 14, 2008. Preorders will be shipped October 14 or thereabouts and will also available in brick and mortar stores at that time. Most online only stores will be shipping between October 14 and November 1 where it is generally available everywhere - if they can be kept in stock!
