The beauty of watching video is that you can put a picture in your mind as to what exactly is the best presentation for a particular lure. Before you go and and buy some bulk fishing lures make sure to see how the experts use them.  Once you have that in your minds eye you can use that lure much more effectively. In addition, understanding how fish react to a given lure's movement is paramount in cathcing more fish. The videos shown below do a great job of explaining why they are using a particlular lure (i.e. what conditions are best suited to use a given lure and presentation), how the action works to trigger stikes from the fish in the surrounding area, and how the fish themselves are relating to the structure you are fishing. If you can put these three things together you have a much better chance of putting fish in your boat.

This guy seems a bit eccentric, but don't let that stop you from watching. He does a great job explaining the method behind catching big bass on docks.  Notice how he talks about keeping your lure under the dock for as long as possible.  He explains tips to entice the fish to bite after you have let it settle a bit under the dock.  We all know that big bass hide under docks often, so heeding his advice is a good way to put more big bass in your boat.

This video does an excellent job of explaining how to use a willow leafed spinnerbait to catch bass.  It is especially effective at displaying how to use the bait in and around heavy weeds.  Watch the part where they show the bass feeding in the heavy cover and you will immediately understand how bass react to baits in and around this type of cover. 

This video is a great resource for how and why to use a large stick bait to catch large bass.  He uses an innovative way to hook the bait to his line that allows for better hook sets.  The underwater camera action does a great job of showing how a bass sees the underwater world when this bait is approaching.  Watch the video to understand how to add this lures ability to catch large bass to your repertoire. 

This video explains the reasoning behind using a flat lipped crankbait.  it produces a different swim pattern than your standard round lipped crankbait.  It is especially effective in shallow water and over rocky structure.  Watch the video as they explain and show how to best use this lure to catch fish.

Great video on how to use soft plastic and a fine tuned finesse approach to catch finicky bass.  This video explains the types of lures you need to focus on, what type of hooking method and weight works best and then goes on to show live video of the bass actually looking at the baits before striking them.  This method is good the entire year, but especially helpful when you catch seem to catch a cold because the fish are turned off.
