My grandma always said, "if you don't like it, it must be good for you".
When I was 10, I'm pretty sure she was just talking about broccoli (and I eventually did grow to appreciate cruciferous vegetables), but I digress...
No matter how much you may be force-fed the idea that you 'have to exercise because [enter reason du jour here], there will inevetiably be those people who will harbor their aversion to all-things-exercise NO MATTER WHAT.
Maybe it's the sweating.
Perhaps it's the (initial) physical discomfort from doing something new.
Or could the resistance come from a series of bad experiences in 3rd grade gym class?
Maybe there's even fear of SUCCESS? (who's gonna feel sorry for me if I'm not fat/weak/tired/etc).
Whether you like it or not, I'm gonna do everything I can (at least through the written word), to help you ACCEPT the idea the you CAN exercise. And gol'dang'it if you don't actually start to ENJOY it!
You see, the real "trick" to getting off the couch (and your hand out of the bag of cheese puffs) isn't pumping iron like an underwear model.
You don't have to run countless (boring!) miles, either.
All you really need to do is find something - ANYTHING - you enjoy. And do it!
At this point, the goal isn't to turn you into a 'fitness buff', drop any particular amount of weight or boost your bench press. It's simply to create the HABIT of regular physical activity.

Even if it's not 'by the book'.
Think you can handle it?
Stay tuned...
