Fitness and Stretching
65Stretching for Fitness
Fitness and stretching come hand in hand. Before you begin your work out you stretch and after you do your workout you should stretch again. Stretching is what gives you more freedom of movement, so you can do things you need to do and like to do. However, stretching alone is not going to help with endurance or strength. The right way to do stretching is to be relaxed, don't bounce around. Bouncing around can actually pull muscles that you're trying to stretch. Breathe slowly and naturally when stretching, don't try to hold your breath.
Before and after every workout you should stretch for a minimum of five to seven minutes. Now that's minimum, if you feel like you need to stretch for a little bit longer, and then by all means do so. You should hold each stretch for at least fifteen seconds and always try to stretch a little bit further with every stretch that you do. The right way to stretch is to be relaxed, not to bounce around. Bouncing around can actually cause you to pull muscles while you try to stretch. Breathe slowly and naturally when stretching, do not try to hold your breath. See, fitness and stretching always work together. Stretching can help with many aspects of your body. It can help you to improve your physical fitness, increase mental and physical relaxation, reduce risk or injury to your joints, muscles and tendons and can also help women with severe pain during menstruation. See, stretching doesn't just improve flexibility, but it does allow you to do the things you do now, plus the things you want to do.
If you perform your stretching correctly, it can increase more then just flexibility. stretching can help you to enhance physical fitness, enhance the ability to learn and perform skilled movements, increase mental and physical relaxation, enhance development of body awareness, reduce risk or injury to your joints, muscles and tendons, reduce muscle soreness and muscle tension and in females it can help to reduce severe pains during menstruation. Keep in mind that if you do not stretch before you do your workouts, you'll have a higher risk of pulling or tearing muscles. Never workout with cold muscles.
Home Workouts
To be healthy you need to be physically fit. One of the best ways to do this is by starting up a personal fitness home workout program. Most everyone knows that a healthier person is a happier one. You will feel better and look better when you increase your fitness and stretching regularly. There are many benefits of a personal fitness home workout that can help you improve your overall health. Exercise will help reduce your risk of having life threatening diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, colon cancer and diabetes. You can have healthier stronger bones, muscles and joints just by incorporating a daily workout routine into your schedule.
It is important for everyone to workout on a regular basis because it does provide so many benefits. One of the first things that you will notice about your body when exercising regularly is the fact that you will have an increase in strength and it can greatly improve your stamina. A personal home fitness workout will help your muscles to become more flexible while building muscle mass in the process. Regular exercise also helps to reduce stress and relieve anxiety along with symptoms of depression. When you feel better you will have a higher self esteem and feel better about yourself.
Working out in your home makes it so much more convenient than trying to go to a gym. This convenience will make it easier to stick with a regular routine for a long period of time, helping you to reach your goals easier. When working out at home you will have the option of choosing the time you want to exercise and make it something fun and enjoyable instead of something you dread. This will help to encourage you to keep up the routine and maintain a healthy workout plan. Inconvenience is one of the biggest reasons why people give up their routine and stop exercising because it is so easy to just make up excuses to not workout.
When you have a personal fitness and stretching home workout you can set it up to meet your specific needs. It can be as strenuous or as light as you want the workout to be. This way you have the option of choosing the level of fitness that you want to achieve during any given time. As you learn more about home fitness your desire to keep a regular routine going will certainly increase. As you start feeling better you will want these benefits to continue. It is recommended that everyone have a personal fitness program to help them stay as healthy as possible. After all, it does offer many rewards.

Stretching is very important, especially before a workout. I never used to stretch before I got on my treadclimber, but several months ago, I started a warm up routine before I get on the treadclimber, and it really made a difference. I get more out of my workouts and feel better. Nice info

Stretching is just one of those things that I know I'm supposed to do, but never get around to. I think I would tear 5-6 muscles if I tried to stretch like that!
This helped thanks a lot for the info. I agree that it is very impoertant to stretch and keep fit even if you are not flexible.
