Green Bay wide receivers have reached or surpassed the 200-yard plateau in a game 10 times. National Football League Hall of Famer Don Hutson accomplished the feat four times, while Packer Hall of Famer Billy Howton turned the trick twice.
Here is a rundown of those games, which also includes the performances of Don Beebe, James Lofton, Carroll Dale and Javon Walker.
Billy Howton, 257 yards_Howton established what still stands as a franchise record Oct. 21, 1956, with seven catches against the Los Angeles Rams in Milwaukee. Howton 's record-setting day helped the Packers dismantle the Rams, 42-17.
Don Hutson, 237 yards_The Alabama flash hauled in eight passes Nov. 21, 1943, as the hosts blasted Brooklyn, 31-7.
Don Beebe, 220 yards_The speedy Beebe turned in one of the top individual performances of Green Bay's run to the Super Bowl in 1996, grabbing 11 Brett Favre aerials in the Packers' thrilling 23-20 overtime victory against San Francisco on Oct. 14. Beebe's effort included a 59-yard touchdown jaunt on "Monday Night Football."
Don Hutson, 209 yards_The dominating force in NFL passing games during his career, Hutson set a team record with 13 receptions against the then Cleveland Rams on Oct. 18, 1942 (later that season he pushed the Green Bay mark up to 14 catches). Against the Rams, Hutson scored twice in the Packers' 45-28 triumph.
Don Hutson, 207 yards_This time he needed only five receptions, three of which went for TDs in Green Bay's 55-24 thrashing of the Chicago Cardinals on Nov. 1, 1942. Andy Uram also scored three times_on only four catches that went for 174 yards_for the Packers.
Don Hutson, 207 yards_No. 14 caught 11 passes, including two scores, this time as Green Bay blasted the combined Card-Pitt Carpets, 34-7, on Oct. 8, 1944.
James Lofton, 206 yards_This glider from Stanford ran through the snow and the Broncos for 11 receptions, but it wasn't enough as the Packers dropped a 17-14 decision at Denver on "Monday Night Football" on Oct. 15, 1984.
Carroll Dale, 205 yards_The Virginia Tech product's six catches went for naught as Detroit handed the Packers a 23-17 setback Sept. 29, 1968, one of five losses by a TD or less during Green Bay's 6-7-1 season.
Billy Howton, 200 yards_A rookie, Howton ran through the Rams for six catches Dec. 7, 1952, but Los Angeles posted a 45-27 win.
Javon Walker, 200 yards_Walker latched onto 11 passes during Green Bay's loss at Indianapolis on Sept. 26, 2004. Walker finished with three touchdowns, including a 79-yarder in the first quarter of the Packers' 45-31 defeat.
