For the average user when they hear, fix PC errors they automatically think oh-no time for a trip to the computer repair shop. Rest assured that most of your common errors can easily be fixed by a windows registry clean up.

Your computer is made up of several components. The parts inside like the CD/DVD, memory and hard drive are called ‘hardware’ in computer talk. But what makes life easy on all of us is the operating system. Most computers use a version of windows, like XP or Vista. Inside the operating system is an area called the registry, this is really the heart of any operating system.

What the registry does is it stores data about your computer. Anytime you make changes to programs, or install new software, a little piece of information gets ‘shelved’ within the registry. Over time this data can get rather large, and the operating system gets confused about how to store it. When you erase or un-install a program not all of the information is gone. A small piece of data (or information) is kept inside the registry.

Your computer may develop symptoms of freezing or crashing, weird PC errors, your computer may become slow. Most of the common PC errors can be directly linked back to your system registry becoming corrupted. Repairing your computers system registry is easy when you have the right tools. Do not trust free or cheap registry cleaner, they do not discriminate well enough between useful and useless data.
