A food service contractor for 20 Connecticut school districts is explaining this as, Fizzy fruit--

pieces of grapes, apples, oranges pumped with carbonation, for giving the soda effect and soda taste. This has been introduced into School lunch menus, in the cafeteria, and a great hit among school children. This will turn kids onto fruit.

An International food management contractor bought the equipment and powder for making carbonated fruit, initially to produce 450 servings.

These fruit snacks are also going to available on grocery stores in a month or two.
