Refreshing..! Original..! Thought-provoking prose...Excellent, my Briney friend....Thank you for this flight of cognitive apprehension in the allegorically mechanistic world of the Bumblebee... Larry
my baby sis has that song on her phone. Before she ever did though, it was songs like that that I envisioned when thinking of her. She has Personality TYPE A. ALWAYS BUSY!
Repetitive busyness, punctuated by threats, fears, struggles, and thankfully, moments of beauty and rest. Sounds like life. Thanks for sharing this interesting piece of prose, Ralwus. I did play the music, by the way. Rating up, as this is worth more than 48.
this can be a human's tale, oh yes, I know the feeling of the bee, get that honey, bring it back, fly, fly, fly for your life don't let that rain getchya, don't let the darkness come upon ya, gotta make it home, weary and tired, rest just enough to do it all again...
Simply delightful!
Love listening to the piece while reading the prose.
oops forgot to sign in above
Hi dennisematt. I am so sorry you could not hear the music while reading. Yes, this is much like life isn't it. Thanks dear.
Hi Larry my friend. So nice to see you again. I do thank you for coming by and leaving me with such a wonderful review. Gee, I'm so flattered.
AsherKade, that's funny and I too know a few like that, one of my good friends is 70 and still runs around like a busy bee. Thanks
Christianesk, yes much like a metaphor of life isn't it. Oh well, the score rating bothers me none. Used to be they were better when first published, now they drop a few points and then go up. Thanks now.
Some dude, now there is a beer I haven't tried yet. LOL I am so glad you came from somewhere to read this. Yeah, it is a lot like my old life when I worked in the oil fields. Plenty of storms I tell ya. Thanks now and come again.
catlyn, so glad you enjoyed this dear one. LOL I have done same in past making my rounds too, not to worry. I did wonder who you were at first.
excellent job. Loved the combination of music and prose poem
Hey Tom. Good to see ya. I thank you so much. Hardest thing I ever had to write before, thought on it for days as I watched her fly around my home.
Lovely...you have me bbbbbuuuuzzzzzing! :)
Haha well now don't fly away now Jodi. thanks hun, yer a real friend
Really loved this.
Why thank you so much suziecat7. So glad you did.
C.
Very creative and original - so what's new? LOL Lurve it! :D
Excellent!!! You must have worked like that bee to make such a fine honey.
CC, I read this several times then I speedy like, in subconscious thought, a bee. I enjoyed it. As if I were this little bee, so busy, so buzzy. Superb.
Cris, I knew you would enjoy this classic with a little narration to accompany it. Thanks and the next thing I write is the new, still being conceived in my head.
hi fen lander, nice to see you. I did at that. this was a hard one to do and try to get the timing down with the music. I am still not fully satisfied with it, but it works. thanks
Aidy so good to see you as always. Gee thanks dear.
CC this is amazing. Like bees We have to keep working and looking for tomorrow. Life is all about hard work and persistence. It is like one major life lesson concerning our course through life and our journey in order to earn our rightful place on this earth.
Why thank you Uriel. Yes, all true unless one is a drone. Seems as though we have those among us too. LOL I have been fascinated with this song and bees my whole life.
I too, could not play the video, but enjoyed the article. I will check back often to read your thoughts.
Hi jiberish, so nice to finally meet you. How goes the not smokin' campaign? So sorry that you couldn't enjoy the music while reading. I'm sure you know the music anyway. thanks now
very creative. In one of my hubs I write about where the bees have all gone and after reading your hub, it shows the poor insects are having a rough trot. regards brownlickie
Hi ya brownlickie, nice to meet you. I think I may have read it, but will check to make sure. I have always loved bees of all kinds, mostly the precious honey bee. I have had much experience with them. yes the girls work themselves to death don't they? Thanks for stopping by now. Well you need to give me a link to the hub. I was wrong.
BRILLIANT...BRILLIANT...BRILLIANT!!!!!
Why thank you Paris
Wow, very creative and inspiring! I read it on my front porch and just then a little buzzer came a buzzing round my head and knee and shoulder. Instead of freaking out I just let her buzz about his buzziness. I think she even winked at me.
LOL that is amazing! Most would be frantic. I had to kill a nest of yellow jackets last night and I hated it, but I was forced to for safety of my dogs and my parrot and the kids in our pool. they have value too but can be a nuisance and I have had a bumblebee nest for years now under our steps leading out the back door of the garage, she always returns and never harms anyone with her brood. Well, I'm sure new 'queens' have taken it through the years. Nice to meet you and thanks for commenting.
I love this ralwus, yet I wish to comment on Aphrodani. This one soars home for me as I am greek. It's of another world, one I can only imagine of its existence.
Hmmm......simply magical.
Thanks Kim. Now as for Aphrodani, I like the old Greek myths and reading about them. You may like my hubs about the flying walrus then, especially the second and third parts.
OMG freakin' AWESOME! the music just adds to it. I would have fanned you if you hadn't fanned me just from reading this hub!
Hi cosette. So very nice to meet you. So glad you liked it. I am honored and genuinely flattered by your praise. thank you so much
I felt like a bee buzzing down here, it's a novel piece set to music well chosen, so I join the others from the hive to say, well done, ralwus.
Hi ya katyzzz, you ain't got those extra z's for nothin', LOL. Thanks so much.
This combination between music and prose poem it is unique.Lets get inspiration from this piece of Art.Thank you.
Hello meteoboy, nice to meet you. Well now the video is yanked from me, you are the last to hear it. Now I need to see if I can fix it. So glad you enjoyed my little inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. CC
Charles ~ Thank you for posting. This was one of my challenging flute pieces growing up. Never really could master it. Of course, we love Yitzak Pearlman great virtuoso violinist. How many other 'Debby's" do you know?
Hi Debby, I suppose that would be challenging to play on a flute. What music have you mastered the? I envy you. Yitzak is much loved all over the globe for his skill and love of music. Now, there is Deborah-Lynn and blondepoet also who is a Deb. I reckon that's three now, maybe some others. thanks for stopping by Debby. Peace and love, CC

I am sorry to report I could not play the video..I think you know about my issues by now..I am sure it would have only distracted me from the images in my mind that your words evoked. I think this was the perfect example of life. Storm after strom, and its important to acknowledge the peace, while we have it and hold on to the fact that all storms do end.
