Starting a flower garden might be easier than you think. I started my garden by getting a few plants from a friend. At the time, I knew nothing about flowers. I couldn't tell the difference between the flowers and the weeds, seriously! Little be little, I began to read some of the catalogs which I got in the mail. That was where my garden started, in my back yard.

First couple years, I didn't know what kind of plants was good for a sunny spot or shady spot. Slowly but surely, I learned to move them around. A few years later and with hard labor, it paid off! When I saw the flowers came up, it was breath taking! I was so proud of myself.

I found that gardening can be therapeutic. Sometimes it can be the best medicine. The most rewarding experience is sharing. Because of my friend, I was able to enjoy my garden and have a new hobby. In return, I share my plants every Summer with friends and co-workers. Now that I can virtually share my joy with you, hope you find the photos inspiring! If you happen to lie near by me, you know I will be more than happy to share some plants with you. So, start your garden now! What are you waiting for?

I can see from the flowers that you must have a beautiful garden. Columbine is one of my favourites, it comes back more abundant every year.
