Folding Foam Bed

In our experience there are many different folding foam bed options available at reasonable costs.  Most of the memory-foam and similar products will fit a folding foam bed with no problems, and most foam pads will easily mold into shape you need them too.  When looking for a folding foam bed, make sure to double-check your room measurements and test the folding section of the bed.  Also, keep in mind that folding foam will break down over time, and you may need to replace a folding foam bed in a couple years.  However, by purchasing a higher quality foam mattress, this shouldn’t be a problem for several years.

Folding Bed Frame

A folding bed frame is the key ingredient in what makes a folding bed.  Many of these frames will fold in the exact center of the bed, rising at each end to literally fold the bed in half.  For other folding bed design, the bed frame will fold in three different sections, almost like a tri-fold letter.  When you look at a folding bed frame, make sure the moving parts are secure and look like they will stand the test of time.  There have been some injuries reported when a folding bed frame does not work as designed.  Many safety experts not letting young children sleep on unsecure folding beds.
