For thousands of years - going back to the ancient Greeks - folklore has told us of the benefits of aphrodisiacs - the legendary foods to increase the libido. If your sex drive has shifted into neutral - the foods of Aphrodite are a promise to kick it into overdrive and get you back on the road.

So, what are these foods for male sex drive? Generally, the physical aspect of the food is meant to externalize its usefulness. Now in the case of carrots - that's pretty obvious. However, herbs like basil and anise really stretch the imagination as to how they relate to the male sex drive. But what about a nice phallic banana? In some cultures the leaf chosen by Adam and Eve after the famous apple incident was a nice large banana leaf. Just the sight of the banana is sure to help increase its efficacy. And another of the primary foods for male sex drive is the gingeng root or man root.

"Snails, Oysters, Reindeers, Oh My!"

When it comes to raw oysters and river snails - well, one hardly knows what to think. While a pleasurable experience - the oysters are not physically like the male genitalia and yet when it comes to foods for the male sex drive - oysters have a strong historical reputation. So do snails with which people eat with a lot of garlic.

Among the more famous foods for male sex drive you certainly might want to think twice about - powdered rhinoceros or reindeer horns. Their physical properties certainly show what is intended - but - how much reindeer horn can you ingest?

Sometimes the reputation for foods for male sex drive relies on the symptoms which the food brings on - chiles and other spicy foods for instance. They elevate the heart rate and can produce sweating - all classic signs of increased libido. How about plain old black pepper - same effect.

Foods for male sex drive are to be found in many classic recipes. Certainly Henry VIII the legendary king of England was sure to add these foods for male sex drive to his diet. Of course, the King had another little trick up his sleeve as well: it is said that he had ruffles sewn into the lining of his undergarments - to increase the visual size of his genitalia.

Best Alternative

BUT, if snails, oysters, and powdered rhinoceros horns is not your cup of tea, then I would suggest something more pallatable and easier to take such as this herbal formula that has been around for 5000 years in India. Practioners of Ayurveda medicine have been prescribing it to their patients to elevate male sex drive for thousands of years with a high degree of success.

Strong As A Horse

The herbs in the forumula is known as kamayogi and are traditionally used in Vajikarana which is one of the 8 specialties of Ayurveda medicine. Vajikarana is the specialty which deals with herbs that make a man sexually strong as a horse and able to copulate frequently and for long periods. :)

As for herb supplements I highly recommend using Extagen. It's a very effective drug which doesn't have side effects and has a prolonged action, so it treats you and makes you more sexually active.

Never heard of it. Will do a search on it to learn more. However, if it's a drug, then I'm sure it must have some negative effect.

InfoQueen I have tried Extagen. It's really rather effective and I haven't noticed any negative effects.
