Why Everyone Needs A Proper Detox Diet?

Our body is full of toxin that will cause detrimental effect to our health if left untreated. This is because in this era, we are living in an environment that is laden with toxins. The air, the water, the food, and the daily commercial goods that we use, are laden with subtle or even high amount of toxin that will deteriorate our health over a long period of time.

This is the reason why we need to go on a detox diet, to help to eliminate toxins that are unable to be removed from our body by our own body system. Detoxing your body doesn't always mean that you will need to go on an intensive detoxification diet, you can also implement foods that detox the body in your daily diet so that you can live healthily even through your daily meal. Before giving you a small list of foods, please allow me to introduce you to the concept of body alkalization. Our body optimum pH is at about 7.2-7.5. This is the level at which our body organs can function at the optimum level. Due to the high level of toxicity in our body, the pH environment will be more acidic, thus slowing down our body system.

The ultimate aim of detox is not to only eliminate the harmful toxin from our body, but also to recover the optimum environment of our body so that we can live healthiliy in the future. Therefore, most of the foods that detox the body, are mainly foods that are alkalizing in nature.

Most of the vegetables and greens are alkalizing in nature, however, I would like to highlight some that are really very powerful in the list below.

Some of the foods are :

1) Lemon. Lemon is most commonly used in the famous detox diet called "The Master Cleanse". Lemon is the cheapest and the stronCagest alkalizing food.

2) Cabbage. Cabbage is so popular due to the famous Cabbage soup diet, that is proven to help one to lose weight efficiently. Many people who receive results from the Cabbage soup diet do not realize that they are actually receiving some detox effects too.

3) Garlic. Garlic is one of the most powerful antifungal foods. Since thousands years ago, garlic is used to combat different fungal infection, which includes yeast infection that is still prevalent nowadays.

4) Beetroot. Beetroot is being researched intensively in the medical field due to its ability in breaking up cancerous cells, and its possibility to be used as a cancer chemo(toxico) therapy. Beetroot is a power agent that can help to detox the liver. However, you should be careful when you are taking beetroot because of its strong power.

Actually, there are many foods that detox the body. Carefully choose the alternatives for your daily diet, making subtle change to your diet, and this is what will ultimately contribute to your long term health.
