Online LLC Filing is Easy

Forming an LLC is not as hard as some people might think. It is actually pretty simple and can be done in a few easy steps. New business owners should consider the advantages of forming an LLC and consider making the choice to do so. An LLC (Limited Liability Company) gives business owners the advantages of a corporation without the same level of corporate maintenance.

In the LLC form of business, the owners are not completely responsible for any actions that can cause debts or losses to the company. This form of a company is more appropriate for smaller businesses that have a a partnership of 2 or 3 people or a single ownership. With an LLC the liabilities are limited to the investment that has been made by the individual owners and any other responsibilities, liabilities and debts are not considered the responsibility of the owner.

So the time and effort to form an LLC makes it well worth it in the ned and the process is pretty easy. There are resources on the web to help someone to form an LLC and even specialists who can help a new business owner through the process.

Why Form an LLC?

An LLC offers the owner protection from liabilites as the liabilites of the business are cosidered part of the investment and not the resposibility of the owner. This means that the owners of an LLC are not personally liable for business debts.

An LLC can also be set up with single ownership and a single investment. In a large number of cases, the members are treated as separate entities from the LLC. The economic benefits of the members need not depend on the interests of the members and hence the benefits are a separate entity and can be assigned accordingly.

Also there is the privilege of a 'pass through taxation' unless otherwise opted for by the LLC. This means that the business entity, itself, is not directly taxed, and the tax burden is instead passed on to the owners and/or members. The result is that the business entity passes its profits and/or losses to the owners as income, wages and profit payments, and each owner or member pays the taxes on their individual share of those profits.

Considering these benefits, forming an LLC makes plenty of sense. More and more business owners are doing the research on this type of business and chosing to form an LLC.
