Hi Patty, Another great hub! I love the Fort Myers - Cape Coral area. Two attractions that are wonderful nearby are Captiva Island and Sanibel Island. On Captiva you'll find a wildlife sanctuary that has hundreds of species of birds as well as the occasional gator. Sanibel is a mecca for seashell collectors. I've never seen a beach with as many treasures. Sanibel also is filled with charming guesthouses... very romantic. Best Regards, c
