Favorite Restaurants in Manhattan
69Favorite Restaurants in Manhattan.
These are all my favorite restaurants in Manhattan. I am a fan of Macrobiotic, Vegan, Japanese, and Korean restaurants if you can’t tell. I realize my reviews are brief, but you cannot go wrong since they are the best. If you don’t want to take my word for it, try citysearch.com instead.
Souen is the restaurant I go to the most. It is a macrobiotic restaurant with a 6 or 7 page menu. They have two locations one near Union Square and another in SoHo. $
Blossom is a vegan restaurant that is close to my apartment. It is the second best vegan restaurant that I have been to. The entrees are incredible. $$$
Hangawi is my favorite Korean restaurant in Manhattan. You have to get the organic brown rice bi bim bab with tofu and avocado it is so delicious. The restaurant has a temple like atmosphere.. $$$
Morimoto is the best sushi restaurant I have been to in Manhattan. The sashimi here is amazing… well actually everything here is amazing. $$$$
Megu is great Japanese restaurant, just as long as you are dating a hedge fund manager. $$$$
Angleica Kitchen is amazing organic vegan restaurant in the East Village. If I did not live in Chelsea I would eat here everyday for lunch. $$
Mana is a macrobiotic restaurant on the Upper West Side. $$
Gobo is a vegan restaurant. I enjoy their delivery services. $$
Candle 79 is an upscale vegan restaurant on the Upper East Side. If you are into setan, tempe, and tofu then you will be in heaven. This is the best vegan restaurant in Manhattan. The drinks and desserts are amazing too. $$$
Candle Café is the café version of Candle 79. $$
Uncle Marky’s Organics is a little hole in the wall in midtown. There are 6 seats to sit in the whole place. You don’t come for the atmosphere though, you come for the food… and most people get take out or delivery anyway. My favorites on the menu are the macro b plate, the burrito, and the spring rolls. $$
EN is one of the few Japanese restaurants that carry trendy sparkling sake. I really like their sashimi and sushi. $$$
Azza is a French and Moroccan restaurant in midtown. $$$
