There are several free anti spyware software downloads...

...but with some you get what you pay for...NOTHING. This is not the case with Spybot Search & Destroy.

Spybot Search & Destroy is very popular. Websites around the web show favorable reviews for Spybot Search and Destroy and is liked by most techies that we can tell.

It is free anti-spyware software that is available across the world wide web. We will be sharing information about Spyware Search and Destroy as well as other free anti spyware programs on this lens.

We downloaded Spybot S&D, tested it and worked as advertised. As always, it did find some spyware loaded on the test laptop that was not discovered by previous anti spyware scans.

This post about free anti spyware provides a link and video on how it works. I would say give it a spin and provide a comment on how it worked for you compared to your current anti-spyware.

Just make sure you that for the intial scan you give yourself a about an hour to let the scan run.

Please follow the instructions on the video below.

Spybot Search & Destroy Free Anti Spyware Software

The world wide web speaks volumns about Spybot S&D and they all seem to love it. That said, it had to be the first one we covered in regards to free anti-spyware software. I like it as well and will continue to use it in conjunction with my current anti-spyware software.

It has several forumsaround the web and a support website as well. Hey, it's free, so you won't feel like you got ripped off either.

You should also consider using a free antispyware too. One such as AVG free edition.

I believe that AVG free edition also acts as an antivirus and firewall software too. There is also SpyBot and quite a few other free resources available. You just have to be careful what you download because some programs act as free antispyware or free antivirus and they are really adware.

I think almost all free software has some type of advertising attached.
