...but not all are created equal. I  ran across this one in Maximum PC magazine in the June 2009 issue. I downloaded it, scanned my system and it works great.

Just make sure you that for the intial scan you give yourself a couple hours for the scan to run.

It has several options for a free anti virus software that even the most savvy of users can appreciate.

Maximum PC magazine seems to really love this free anti virus program. I like it as well and will continue to use it in conjunction with my current software.

It has an expert mode with a lot of options. Since it is free, you will most defintely not feel cheated at all.
