Free DVDs - Free DVD Movies from SwagBucks

Money for nothing and your kicks for free, well almost, free DVDs at any rate, which can’t be bad. There aren’t many places online that you can get free DVDs, with minimal effort, or at least not many places where you could get free DVDs that you’d actually choose to watch.

Enter ‘SwagBucks’.

Swagbucks is essentially a search engine, just like Google or Yahoo, you type into it what you’re looking for on the internet, and Swagbucks finds it for you. You use it to search the web just as you would any other search engine, the difference being that periodically Swagbucks rewards you by awarding you ‘Swagbucks.’

These swagbucks once accumulated can then be exchanged for free DVDs, in addition to all manner of other rewards. Not just free DVDs but also free books, free posters, free music, free electronics, amongst all manner of other things, and all this just for searching the internet as you normally would anyway.

The selection is limited at the moment, but new prizes are being added all the time, I have 81 swagbucks in my account at the moment which has taken me about two months of searching for about two minutes a day to accumulate. So in terms of duration this isn’t a quick way to get free DVDs and other free stuff, but in terms of effort, if you have a little patience, then it’s a great little way to treat yourself to a free gift every month or so. You can earn up to 3 swagbucks awards a day, and I’ve usually only bothered to earn one, so the time spent accumulating swagbucks to earn your free DVDs etc could be significantly reduced if you spend a lot of time on the internet each day.

My 81 swagbucks could currently be traded in for ‘The Best of Friends Season 4’ on DVD for free, ‘five hilarious episodes’, including: The one with the jellyfish, the one where Chandler crosses the line, the one with the free porn, the one with all the wedding dresses and the one with the worst best man ever.

Being a closet ‘Friends’ fan this was a definite contender for my free DVD selection.

But then there was also ‘The Best of Dukes of Hazard’ which I loved as a kid, the Office season 5 which is hilarious, plus ‘The Best of MADtv’ seasons 8, 9 and 10. But perhaps the best way to get free DVDs or other free stuff using SwagBucks is to trade in your Swagbucks for giftcards, 45 Swagbucks will get you a $5 Amazon gift card and 70 Swagbucks will get you a $5 PayPal gift card meaning that you can then go to Amazon, eBay or pretty much anywhere else to choose whatever free DVDs you like.
