Gameplay is very exciting. You can choose a cabbie out of 4, and then you roam the streets looking for fares. You can play in either Arcade Mode or Original Mode. You race through the streets risking life and limb in order to get your passenger to whatever they want to go, including Pizza Hut and KFC etc. A clock ticks like a time bomb, and in the end your total money earned is calculated and you are awarded a license based on that. Scream your fares across parks, drive under water, catch air over buildings, swerve through oncoming traffic, and don't think twice about charging up a one-way street the wrong way if it'll get you there faster. The city is full of crazy twists and turns, but you've got money on your mind, so keep it floored, watch out for the walls, and go for the gold!.
It is Simply a fun game. You can’t beat racing through a city, picking up customers, and being reward for driving recklessly. Addicting gameplay, and nearly unlimited replayability, Crazy Taxi is one game you should own for your Dreamcast.
