Get free music from streaming Internet radio, social network music sites, and even video sites like Youtube. Here's how you do it:
First, get the Firefox browser if you haven't already. It makes things much easier and it's free. Then download the Video Download Helper add-on.
If you are still a Microsoft zombie and
only have Internet Explorer then download Orbit Downloader or Free Music Zilla (not as good
but it'll do for you I.E. users).

Now, go to a good music website. I use sites like Jango, Project Playlist, Just Hear It and Youtube. Search for the songs you want and play them. While playing the song, download it per instructions on Video Download Helper, Orbit or Free Music Zilla. It usually just takes a click on your download helper program's icon.

There is a great (and free) file converter that can change your music video into mp3 or wma formats. Then you can burn it onto a disc just like any other audio file. It's called Format Factory and it's awesome!
Format Factory can convert just about every format into just about any other format. It's also great for converting movies in avi format into wmv. It's a must have for music and movie geeks like me.

Currently I'm using IDM and i have no problems with it though most times it can be a monster - wanting to download everything in sight! but it's fast so I use it quite a lot for vids and music. But I got to have that Format Factory - sounds like a genius! Thanks for being selfless - i knew you had it in you! LOL :D

Interesting! I don't think my dear old dino-puter is up to this kind of thing though. I can't even watch a video without a looooong pause in the middle while it is thinking about whether or not to play the rest of it! :D
I have been wanting to have a good selection of instrumental music, it's perfect timing as I just received my new puter two days ago as my last one crashed. Will be doing some downloading. Thanks for the hub!
