Another great trend that is steadily becoming tradition on Rosh Hashanah is coloring pages for children. These pages, designed to teach and instill pride in the Jewish New Year and High Holiday, are colored by children all over the world over. With the expansion of the internet in recent years, now you don’t have to even go out to the store to find coloring pages, they’re just a simple click and print away. Supercoloring.com has a variety of great-looking pictures, not only for Rosh Hashanah, but for other holidays and categories as well. Among their Rosh Hashanah collection, they have a variety of men and boys playing a shofar. These pictures can be a great tool to teach your children the importance of the shofar in Rosh Hashanah celebration.

This is definitely a site that you want to try to teach your children the importance of the holiday while letting them have fun.

There’s even an artistic poem activity in which your children can tell you what Rosh Hashanah means to them, all while spelling out the words, “New Year.” This is a great site for people with older children who may find coloring to be a little bit juvenile.

Chabad.org has coloring pages for Rosh Hashanah and other Jewish holidays. While their selection of Rosh Hashanah coloring pages was quite small, (only two that I saw,) they did have a picture of the, “Machzor,” or the prayer book read on the High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, which I had not seen on any of the other websites listed above.
These are only a few of the websites available to you for coloring pages. A quick Google search, even for Rosh Hashanah coloring pages in the images tab, will net you hundreds of great pictures that your children can spend hours coloring and having fun on Rosh Hashanah.
