Hi my name is Emil and I have been an active member of Hubpages for a little over two weeks from the time of writing and publishing this Hub.
I am not a Guru but my background and education consists of accounting, finance, drafting, and electronics.
I only have about eight months in total, of search engine optimization experience but I will share what little knowledge I do have.
I will attempt to use HubPages to get on Google's front page for the keywords, Web Traffic Tonight using the Hub you are now reading.
My goals are clear to my readers, fellow Hub fans, and most importantly Google and all the other major search engines.
Google's First Page
If you publish Hubs on HubPages, check to see if your Hub has ranked on Google's first page for your keywords. Go to: www.google.com and type the title of your article in the search bar. If your article or Hub is missing in the first three pages. You are missing out on a very key element, More visitors to your site.
To earn the big bucks, your website(s) or hub(s) should be on Google!
Everyone knows, most people do not search past the first couple of pages when doing a search.
So, if you have something important to offer, a website, a valuable service or product, you could be missing out on literally thousands or millions of visitors if you are not on Google's first couple of pages.
Using this Hub, I will attempt to show my fellow Hubpage community and possibly Millions, how I got ranked on Google's first page for the keywords, Web Traffic Tonight!
Since, Web Traffic Tonight are my keywords, this hub or article will be written around those keywords to help improve rankings in the search engines.
Everyone who has a website, business, products or services would like to get free web traffic tonight, right?
Limited Knowledge
Do you have a background in information technology? Are you a webmaster and familiar with HTML code or software, like Dream Weaver?
You don't have to answer, these questions are rhetorical but I think you get the picture.
Next question, what are you willing to do outside of what you normally do, to learn search engine optimization?
Most of us, don't have the time or patience to fuss with purchasing and dowloading hordes of ebooks and dvd's to optimize our websites and try to get free web traffic. In the event you do, there is really no need for you to continue reading at this point.
You are here for one reason, and one reason only. You want to know how you can receive Free Web Traffic Tonight.
Since, I have been where you are, I am at least qualified enough to assist you in getting free Web Traffic Tonight.
Website Traffic
First, you need to understand how most people get traffic to their websites. Most people have to Buy their website traffic.
The majority of people, have to try several different methods to drive traffic to their websites and there is nothing wrong with that if you have two things, unlimited time and unlimited resources.
It has been reported that some major companies, spend upwards to 2 million dollars per year on Google Adwords.
If you have the resources, like some, you could buy traffic and I must admit PPC or pay per click, is very effective, if you have the know how to bid for the most common keywords and if you bid high enough.
Google Adwords are used by millions, who choose to advertise their sites or products, and for some the results are pretty good.
A great complement to Google Adwords, is I Need Hits. I have used them in the past to drive traffic to my website for a fee of course but they do all the work.
These services are great, but remember the higher your bid the more (impressions) or the more your site will be shown to generate traffic. Low bids usually generates low traffic, unless you know something I don't.
Let's Get Started
Okay, let's get to the point. You came to this site, hopefully because it was on Google's first page for your keyword search, Web Traffic Tonight.
I am quite sure everyone has heard of the company, Web Traffic Tonight. The truth of the matter is, they didn't work for ME! Your experience may be quite different.
How did I manage to get Here, on Google's first page for the keywords, Web Traffic Tonight?
I wil provide simple instructions and tools so your Hub can be effectively seen and you don't waste your valuable time.
Simple Instructions:
If you read carefully and follow my instructions you can do the same thing with little to no experience.
Step 1.
You need to open an account at HubPages.com, the best part it's absolutely Free! I have received over 1200 visitors to my HubPage articles in just 4 weeks. Wow that's amazing and the traffic was FREE!
You must know how to write an article, just like the one you are reading right now, that is useful to your readers and most importantly search engines to get free Web Traffic Tonight.
Step 2.
Okay, you are serious about making money and driving traffic to your hub article or website, right? Do this, before writing any article, choose your keywords FIRST.
Step 3.
How to choose keywords that will explode traffic to your site?
You have to choose the Right Keywords before even writing your article. For example, the more generic your keywords the more likely you will not rank on Google or any major search engine. Consider the words; Web Traffic, this is obvisously too generic and there are a ga-zillion sites trying to compete for these keywords. However, if you choose keywords like; Web Traffic Tonight, you will have a greater chance of ranking or coming up first on Google's search results on the organic free side.
Since I like my article(s) and website(s) ranking or coming up first on Google's search results and I absolutely love free traffic and of course earning extra income. I use a special keyword software called Word Tracker. This is so cool, it actually shows you the number of people searching daily for your keywords. If you are using keywords that are yielding very low search results or no results at all, try different keywords so you don't waste your time.
Step 4.
Write your article.
I am by far no expert when it comes to writing articles. I write from the heart and I never write copywritten material. Here's a few major tips that will help. Write an authentic article, in your own words. Write an article using the keywords you have chosen that you know will drive traffic to your article. Use the keywords in the title. Use the keywords in the beginning, in the middle and in the end of your article but make sure not to do over do it. You should have a keyword density of 1 - 3 percent for Google to pay attention without considering your article SPAM.
Step 5.
After you have finished writing your article, you are allowed to place a couple of links promoting your personal business or affiliate website. So, if you need a website or domain name I sell them very cheap at my online store, Godusty.com.
Step 6.
Ater you've finished publishing your blog or hub on HubPages you need to ping your hub so it can be found by Google and indexed. This is very important but also very easy. Go to Ping My Blog, it's FREE!
Step 7.
Do you want more traffic? After opening a free account on HubPages and publishing your first hub, go to the bottom of the page and click on: Link to this page. You will notice a link with your hub title, copy and paste this and include this in all your emails, websites, blogs and etc. Providing you more free traffic.
Bonus Section:
Make Money Online Using Hubsense
As an added bonus if this information wasn't already useful in helping you get your website or blog on the first page of Google, I am going to show you how to Make Money Online Using Hubsense.
Right now you are probably saying to yourself, what the heck is Hubsense?
Definition of Hubsense
My definition of Hubsense is: using Hubpages plus Google Adsense to Make Money Online. As a Hubber, all to often I will speak to other Hubbers who do not take advantage of this revenue stream by having a Google Adsense account.
All it takes, is a few moments to open a Google Adsense account and apply it to your Hub page. I probably don't have to tell you this, but I will, Google shares part of the advertising revenue with you when fellow Hubbers or anyone click on your specific ads on your Hub or website.
Only one word of caution, you must NOT click on YOUR own Google ads or your Google Adsense account could be canceled.
When I'm On HubPages
How do you use Hubsense to Make Money Online? This is what I do when I am on HubPages and I encourage my fans to do the same. This is really neat.
I go to the search bar on Hubpages and I enter whatever I am looking for, cameras, jewelry, navigation systems, and certain video games and believe me there are plenty. You can find just about anything on Hubpages.
Once I find what I am looking for, I then Click on the hub, read the information and Click on all the relevant Google Ads and links to learn as much as I possibly can about the products or services before purchasing.
Everyone in the HubPage community should use HUBSENSE!
EXAMPLES OF EMPLOYING HUBSENSE:
- Actively, Commenting on other Hubber's blogs or Hubs
- Actively, Joining other Hubber's fan clubs
- Actively, Clicking other Hubber's Google ads that (INTEREST YOU)
- Actively, Purchasing from the Hubpage community
- Actively, Engaging other Hubbers with your knowledge
- Actively, Writing new Hubs will increase your income

I don't suggest people paying for adwords unless they really understand PPC marketing.
I know Ineedhits has been around for awhile, so they must be doing the right thing.
I think organic search engine results are the way to go in the long run. in other words the "free google listings"

Actively clicking on other ads only to generate revenue is against google's terms of service.

VibrantViews, thanks for your post and you are correct, actively clicking on other ads ONLY to generate revenue is wrong for several reasons.
The first couple of days on Hubpages, I was so paranoid about clicking anyones ads, instead of clicking and purchasing the book on a fellow hubbers website, I actually went to Barnes and Nobles and purchased the book Search Engine Optimization for Dummies.
Now if I see a ad that interest me I go ahead and click and many times make a purchase!

Well I hooked you up with 10 clicks (because the ads seemed really interesting) so 6 will go to your account --it was hard work -those free money sites have incredible pop ups and flash driven speeches , I had to kill the whole tab to get away, wow..but its done -keep on keepin on

Erick G. I would like to echo your comments. There is much more to SEO then just a few un-searched keywords or keyword phrases. The Google bots look for many other criteria in determining page rank.
On the other side if you get to the top of the Google page for a small searched keyword you still will get some traffic. But be assured for the more searched keywords you need to research, research, research SEO.

I am not an expert on search engine optimization, I am not a Guru of sorts or anything. I am quite sure there are a lot of people more knowledgeable than me in a lot of areas.
Keep in mind with little to no experience, I have gotten more web traffic using these tips than hiring a SEO expert. If you are a newbie you can generate web traffic for yourself.

Great info. I did find this out after publishing my hubs here, on Triond, GoArticles, and EzineArticles. I searched for the title of my published articles and found them on the front page of Google! I had dabbled with SEOs in the past and used the best keywords (tags) for the articles I could think of. It was really cool to see the title of my articles ranked number two and three on Google. Now if I can just leverage this into monetary conversions.

It seems once you have already pinged your blog, once is good enough. I only ping once to notify search engines of my entire collection of 2 blogs or hubs.
