Free program online: Computer Art: using the tools to create art
64The question has been raised if you can use this program to create art other than abstract. I do not regard all my designs as abstract, but certainly it is not conventional art.
Yes there are paintbrushes and pencils if you want to use them and make life difficult but the potential is certainly there, but not for me.
But someone else might care enough to attempt it, whatever approach you use it certainly challenges your mind which actually interests me more than creating artistic skills.
It is for me an eternal fascination seeing just how far I can go, so do download Paint.NET for free, it's bound to offer you at least some interest and some may finally get carried away with it just as I do.
But for now you might just like to see what I can do and the choice is entirely yours.
Have fun, challenge your mind and artistic abilities and exercise that imagination which we know everyone has to a greater or lesser degree.
Your comments would be greatly appreciated just as I endeavour to comment on your work as much as possible, but time is always a consideration.
For now, I simply present to you some more of my efforts. It's tricky and that for me is half the appeal.

That's the spirit Hawkesdream, you've nothing to lose and at least something to gain.

You mean what you do is easy? :D I think it still consumes some of your time.
It does, but it's relaxing and I have been doing this stuff for a long time, that's what makes the difference, but not so good for conventional art, of that I need no convincing, but it's good for the mind and the visual memory.
Never let anything beat you, beats me. Have another go some other time just for the beauty of the fiddle.

Thank you for showing alternatives to this programme, think I will give it a 'whirl' and will let you know.
