Dropshipping has become a very popular business model for many people. It is advantageous to the sellers as they have a lot more people promoting their products. Dropshippers have the advantage that they are not holding any stock or not going out sending all these orders.

Method

• You find dropshippers
• List their products on your website or ebay
• Once you have made a sale you go to the dropshipper and order
• You enter your customers address and the dropshipper ships directly to them
• You list for how much you want and keep the products

Obviously it's not as simple as this as it is hard to find reliable suppliers and also suppliers with a good price that you can actually make profit. In some cases you won't be able to dropship certain products as you won't find them cheap enough or there is too much competition.

It is important to choose your product carefully or supplier. You can sell everything you can but I would reccommend you focus and find a niche product.

If you decide to dropship on ebay it may be also beneficial for you to dropship using a shopping cart system. If you do not have much knowledge of creating a shopping cart system I would reccommend Vstore. It's free and easy to use. Later on in your business you can install oscommerce and buy some oscommerce templates. You can find some free ones available. There are many lists on ebay and dropshippers. Just type in a product or a niche area aswell as dropshipper or dropship. e.g. mobile phone dropshipper. You can also find dropshippers in forum. In the UK the top forums are www.thedropshipforum.co.uk and www.thewholesalepages.co.uk

It's best if you find a dropshipper that ships worldwid.

Once you have found a dropshipper check them out, call them, email them, ask questions, find out about them. See what other people are syaing about this company.

DHGATE - this is a trading format for suppliers in China that provide products wholesale to the world. They also dropship products. There are loads of suppliers on here so you need to find reliable ones. It is best to buy from Powersellers. Once you have purchased a lot you get to become a VIP member and have buying manager. Some reliable sellers for electronics are risetech, dhsam, army, wholesale_china.

If you are interested in Dhgate and are looking for more rleiable sellers just request a hub and state which niche area or products you want. I am a Silver VIP member so I have access to the VIP members area where only the best traders are available.

I have had a few faulty products such as mobile phones but the sellers give you refunds. You can open disputes similar to paypal. The sellers all accept Paypal and the payment is held by DHgate. It is like an escrow system.

Sourcinggate - I have made quite a bit selling car dvd players and rare phones with this suplier. You can keep in touch by MSN.

Gogoec - This is similar to DHgate. Some products are cheaper. Most of the products however are from GoGoec and not from different suppliers.

Lightinthebox - Great layout, good shipping times, a bit expensive.

These dropshippers are from China but they ship all over the world. It is best for you to order some products yourself and chekc out the quality and take your own pictures.

When dropshipping on ebay you get so many views and a lot more sales. It's useful to use ebay pulse to see what is hot.
