You like playing a game once in a while on your Windows Mobile phone? You like to play yahtzee? Then this is the game for you. A windows Mobile game called TripYzee which basically is a free windows mobile game that plays the game of yahtzee. There are quite a few yahtzee clones available for Windows Mobile these days, some are paid and some are free. This free game is one of better clones I have encountered thus far.

There is a multiplayer hot seat mode available and you can even skin the application so you have it look like you like it, or pleases your eyes – we all enjoy different color themes. For people that are not familiar with the yahtzee rules they are as followed:

To play this game you will need at least a Windows Pocket PC 2002 and therefore should work on every version of PPC or Windows Mobile that comes after that (ppc 2003, windows mobile 5.0, windows mobile 6.0, windows mobile 6.1 and ofcourse the recently released windows mobile 6.5). In order to play the game you need the MS .net compact framework version 1. This has been available for years and years and should be on any touch device available these days. The game itself plays pretty straightforward and can be fun if you are a yahtzee fan. Don’t expect amazing graphics super sound FX or groovy music. It is what it is, a yahtzee clone and there for has a boring nature to some and a relaxing factor to others. You will need a stylus to play this game as the buttons are just too small to press without it, and trying to do so would just become frustrating. The game is light in nature and has no problems performing well on even the older devices around. There is often things to criticize in games like this, but as I said earlier, it is what it is – Yahtzee, free, for windows mobile.
