A Scam VS. Getting Scammed

Freebie trading, it takes patience. I have been a part of the Freebie Trading world for a while now and I enjoy working the trades, meeting the people and making the money. When I was first introduced to freebie trading, it was through Project Payday and then I moved on to the Free Lunch Room. This forum is a great place to learn the business, how to do it right and what not to do. The business itself is easy to do and yes, it does take time, effort and patience. In anything we do worth while, effort, time and patience should be expected and not something we should be surprised at. Freebie trading is not a get rich quick way to make money, but then anything on the internet that is honest and legitimate, isn't going to claim that you can get rich overnight, in a month or be a millionaire in a year. Reality is such that our common sense has got to kick in sometimes and tell us to "wait" and not trust everything we read, the promises that are made and the expectations that are presented. We all want the ideal, work at home opportunity. Who wouldn't? Because of this desire, we do get caught up in the drama and the promises that are made as we research the next, work at home opportunity.

Identifying a scam. The word "scam" is associated with fraud. Both of these terms mean: one who deliberately deceives another in order to damage them or in more common terms, theft by deception. Theft by deception, especially on the internet, is so common these days that before we do almost anything on the internet, we will Google the term with the word scam and see what happens. More often than not, there is going to be someone, somewhere, who has reported being scammed or lied to by the relivant term or name you have just Googled. Go ahead and Google "freebie trading" and you will get all sorts of scam alerts and people who have claimed to being scammed by freebie trading.

Is Freebie Trading a scam? By the definitions we talked about, theft by deception or deceiving another in order to damage them, then no, the freebie trading business is not a scam nor a fraud. However, if you don't know the business, then yes, you can jump in and get scammed all day long, but not by the freebie trading business. The business itself is a legitimate way for you to earn money and/or prizes simply by trying products for reputable companys. However, there are people out there who know how to use freebie trading to make money off the ignorance of others. The so called scams in freebie trading, are done by creeps who know how to find the newbie and use their ignorance to make a profit. So, the people who did not take the time needed to learn the business, will now report that freebie trading is a scam.

Freebie traders, whether they are mentors or new traders, know that there is a process to trading on the freebie websites. Signing up for the trial offer on a site and committing to the product trial term is only part of the business.

These offers are from companys such as:   Blockbuster, Proactive, Lifelock, Netflix, Paypal, Video Professor, Double Day Books, Scholastic Disney Book Club, AARP and so on. If freebie trading was a scam, these companys would not allow their good names to be associated with such a fraudelant practise in the first place. This is the facts!

Scammers and how they scam! If you are a freebie trader, then you know how a scammer can get you. It's not hard and even some of the most seasoned traders get busted every once in a while, usually when trading Green4Green. Freebie sites pay their traders through Paypal, if they have opted for cash instead of an Ipod or 42" TV. Most traders deal in cash, so Paypal stays very busy with freebie traders. (Another example of a legitimate company associated with freebie trading). The freebie trading forums are great places for traders to set up new trades with other traders and to help new traders get started in the business. These forums offer a wealth of information on freebie trading, whether it is by tutorials or one-on-one mentoring with other traders, on how it works, how to do offers, the rules, etc. These forums are also great places for scammers to find their victims. These scammers find a "newbie" and offer to help them learn the business or, in some cases, simply tell the newbie that they have been assigned to be their mentor. These scammers have done their homework and they know the freebie business well. They also know what to tell a newbie to get their attention and to win their trust. They simply teach them "enough" of the business, so when it comes time to set up the trade, the newbie will do as he has been instructed. He will sign up on the freebie site, using the scammers referral link, do the offer, get the credit and go green. At this point, the newbie has completed the offer and gotten the credit for doing the offer. Now comes the time the newbie is to be paid, by his mentor (the scammer). The pay is usually 1/2 the money the freebie site is offering for the green. What the scammer does once the newbie has done the offer and gotten the credit, they collect all the money from the freebie site and never pay the newbie. Scam, "theft by deception." That, in a nutshell, is how someone can get scammed in freebie trading.

The truth is that no matter where you go or what you do, there are those people whose main goal in life is to scam and steal from the rest of us.

Yes, you can make money in freebie trading! As I stated before, I am a freebie trader. The business is great and its fun trying out new products and services from these great companys. No, you are not going to become a millionaire in a year, but then who is. The odds are against most of us, so I decided I would rather be realistic and make extra money doing something that I knew was a "sure thing" and that I enjoyed. I was taught how to do the business the right way, so therefore I know what to watch out for. The key to freebie trading is to have the patience to learn how the trades are done, how to do the offers the right way and how to take care of the newbies that are counting on you to teach them the right way. The freebie forums are great places to learn and ask questions. Always remember that no matter what online venture you decide to take on or new opportunity you are checking out, be careful. There are those out there who don't care about you, your needs or what you want to accomplish. All they care about is trying to find a way to scam you, even if the business you are pursuing is legit and honest, such as Freebie Trading!

Remember this one thing, no matter what home business you choose, do your homework. You should ask alot of questions and ask them again. Get information about others who have succeeded in doing what you are interested in. Ask for their contact information If you get the run around, then run fast to the nearest escape button. All legitimate and honest businesses on the internet will be more than happy to answer any question you may have and also provide you with contact information for others who have succeeded. It makes no sense for them not to, right? I wish you the best in whatever you are searching for.

Till next time! VinSha

Great post, I hope that this will help clear up some of the misconceptions about the business. A lot of people think that by completing these offers they are going to be scammed out of money but if they follow the instructions that both their mentors and the businesses making the offers give you, you can very well make a profit from trading.

Well done, FLR is not a scam but like we say "This is not a get rich scheme" . It takes patience and being able to follow the directions and rules of the trader and forum. Always work with experienced traders and check their Trading Rates.
