On the internet you are free to go where you will and do what you want - perhaps not for long.

A new bill is on Congress proposed by John McCain that is called sadly “Internet Freedom Act” - The sad fact is old John is trying to do to the internet what the Republicans have done to Savings and Loans, Big Oil Companies, Banks and Health Care.  Take off all the regulations so they can screw the American People.

You forget between you and the Information Highway is a company that is out to make a profit.  Right now the FCC requires that your provider give you free access to the internet and all sites there on.  Under this law the FCC would be blocked from requiring that open format and your provider would be able to make sites where they make a profit function faster than the others.

Yes, they could make more profit by limiting your freedom of use.  So right now it is steering you to their content, but what happens when they block you from sites that you might like, lets say Porn or growing dope or political sites they do not like.....

McCain should call this act the Internet High Profit Act - Why would McCain screw us to help the Telecom industry - Well he did take $765,000 from them - Yes a war hero I respect sold out for $765,000 to allow companies to rip us off.  Did McCain get bad advice from the 23 lobbyists that work for him who worked before for the Telecom industry.. Ya.

Get on the horn to your congress people and fight this, keep the internet open so that you will not be blinded to the real world.
