Fresh Content

Everyone says you must have fresh new content on your web page, blog, lens,or hub in order to get noticed. You must be an SEO guru to set your page to be found by the search engines, or pay someone or some company to do the task for you. My question is there really such a thing as Fresh Content or New Content.

Pick a subject any subject, do a google search and see how many pages it found using your keyword or key phrase. If you happen upon one that does not have millions or results found, you start to write your new content only to find out you have not said anything new, you have just reworded the same thing that someone else has already said. Or how about those people that buy programs the rewrite content by changing the order of the sentences and rewording the adjectives or noun like changing "money to cash". How can this be Fresh Content?

Is there any subject that has not be touched? In my opinion, no. So what makes the content fresh, original, or new? These are good questions and if anyone knows the answer can you please share it with the rest of us.

Lets try a few keywords phrases:

  • Florida Home Loans 32,800,000 results found on google
  • How to tie a tie 23,300,000 results found on google
  • Breast Cancer 32,800,000 results found on google
  • High paying keywords 1.130,000 results found on google
  • Music Downloads 156,000,000 results f0und on google
  • Paris Hilton 38,500,000 results found on google
  • Pit Bull Care 4,530,000 results found on google
  • How to write fresh content 23,600,000 results found on google
  • Having a baby 125,000,000 found on google

Looking at these numbers do you think you can come up with something that no one else has already said. Maybe, maybe not. Everyone has an opinion and has the ability to voice it and share it with the world. Write it down, speak it out, toss it around with your family and friends. Get some feedback, compare that to your own opinion and research on your chosen subject. Then maybe you have found that fresh content you have been looking to write.

How do you come up with ideas? Most of the time I draw a blank. When I say most of the time I mean 99.9% of the time. I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I know a little of this and a little of that. I specialize in nothing, but like to do a lot of different things. I have been told write about what you like, what you a passionate about, and writing original fresh content will come easy. I have also been told read your newspaper and voice your opinion about the articles you read, hot topics like the refugees from Haiti.

The google is getting traffic to your website, blog, lens, or hub. You can pay for traffic, you can pay for someone to write for you. Or you can give it the good old fashion honest effort and do it yourself and see what happens. I have two hubs, that I don't know how I did it, but I have landed on the first page for a natural search on google. However, this does not necessarily mean that the web surfers are flocking to my pages. You can have top position but if no one is looking no one is clicking.

So, keep writing, practice makes perfect. Encourage yourself the same as you would encourage your child. And always run spell check before you publish your work!
