Companies indulge in the full time job of mentally torturing youngsters in the guise of looking for quality.
.The candidates are made to wait for several hours without proper response
.HRs who have completed MBAs after a useless arts or science degree take vengeance on the engineering graduates and ventilate their jealous burnings
.Bonds are presented in the last minute for signing and it is kept only in the custody of the company – rules must be changed for fair treatment, companies should be asked to forward a copy to the labour officer, then the gross violations will be exposed.
.Selection is made in a particular office; appointment is made in a different place, and then after training posting is given in a different place.
.PF amount is deducted, but is not given to the employee when he/she leaves the job; it should be automatically credited into the salary account after two months of the person leaving the job (if the salary is not paid to the individual, it should be assumed that the person is no more in service with that company)
.Jobs in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune carry a heavy sum as salary and hence interviews are conducted in Chennai, youngsters are asked to sign the bond and then they are shifted to these costly cities with the same meagre salary.
.Almost all lucrative jobs are captured by people from neighbouring states and the ordinary jobs are offered to the locals from Tamilnadu and a hence a study is to be conducted in this area. At least 60% of the vacancies are to be allotted to youngsters with Tamil as their mother tongue, and not those who speak Tamil.
.Minimum salary is to be fixed by the government for an engineering graduate; not less than Rs.10,000/- p.m. for one year and then a revision should be implemented
after that.
.Companies grab the bond amount when the employee leaves. In the same way when the company asks the employee to leave the job, the same bond amount should be paid to the employee. Rules say “on either side”; it cannot be just one sided.
