To get from the Vienna Airport at Schwechat (located outside the city limits) to the city center, you can choose from a Taxi, Limousine Service, City Airport Train, an Airport Express bus, the Schnellbahn (City Train).

Taxi and Limousine Service: Taxi will cost you between 27€ and 40€ depending where you have to go and how's traffic is in Vienna. With a Limousine Service, that's the service i work for, i will offer you a flat rate of 40€ up to 3 passenger and 65€ for a Minivan that will fit up to 8 passenger, each way, at any time, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Also, i will give you some helpfull information about the city: where to go, what to see, which area in Vienna to enjoy most, etc. I will wait for you at the Arrival Hall with your name or a specific name you want and if you flight is delayed, don't worry, i will check your arrival time and be there to meet you on time. The City Airport Train (CAT) will bring you almost to the city center. It leaves every 30 minutes from and to the Airport, cheap way if you don't have to many luggage to carry on. Ticket will cost you 9 Euros each way, from there you have to change to the public transportation (2,20€ per person) or get a Taxi to your destination.

Airport Express bus will take you to the city center (Downtown) but to a specific place called Morzinplatz. The ride takes around 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic, same as the CAT. From there you will have to walk to the nearest public transportation, subway or tram (streetcars) and there is no Taxi stand right next to Morzinplatz, the next one is about a 3 to 5 minutes walk at Rotenturmstrasse, right next to the Mac Donalds. Ticket will cost you 6€ each way. There is also a Airport Express bus to the both Trainstation (Southstation and Weststation), first the bus will stop at the Southstation (Südbahnhof) 20 to 25 minutes rides, only Trams and Busses runs to the Southstation, then the bus moved to the Weststation (WestBahnhof) 35 to 45 minutes rides, at the Weststation you will find Trams and Subway.

With the Airport City Train (Schnellbahn) S 7: For your ride to and from the airport, you need only buy an additional "Aussenzonen" (outer zone) ticket for 2.20 Euro and have it punched before entering the train. You need to pay two zones (4.40 Euro). Please make sure that the train in the direction of the airport shows either the sign "Wolfsthal" or "Flughafen." From the airport to the center of Vienna, you should choose train with signs "Wien Mitte," "Wien Nord" or "Floridsdorf." It is the cheaperst way to get into and from the city but also the longest ride. It stops many times to and from the city and the train comes every 40 to 50 minutes.
