From great, to bad, to great, to stuck

I started out two months ago with a bang, 60 views in only a few days. Then i wrote hubs much less frequently and my views dropped. Last week i started writing again and (you can guess) views got higher. But last week i was away for a while and my views dropped. Finally I am back and i don't know what to write about.
I have the beast they call Writer's Block.
I'm particularly susceptible to Writer's Block because i'm allergic to some of the medication that could help prevent or cure it. Instead of using:
Writing Prompts: Creative Writing Ideas By Ripplemaker, or
Be Inspired, some kinda challenge thingy... and more photoshop By Cris A
or any other type of writer's block cure, i have to rely on whatever pops into my head during the day, or based on my experiences. The reasoning is complicated, but in layman's terms: My writing can't be stimulated by pictures or prompts. My writing has a mind of its own.
And my performance is suffering because of it.
I'll see you when i recover, but for now i think i'll just get some bedrest and drink my fluids.
What helps you get over writer's block?

Apparently writer's block doesn't exist-you're just "empty" of ideas, and you need to fill yourself up again. (At least, that's what they told me at camp.) But I wouldn't know, I've never had writer's block (or been empty of ideas, whatever). And I just jinxed it, didn't I? xP.
Try leaving the writing alone for a few days and not worrying about it. Expect inspiration from a place where you least expect it. I'm always getting inspiration from books I read or songs I listen to.
Happens to all of us! Then just when you think it's gotten really bad, hub after hub just gushes out. Great to discover you on HubPages!
K@ri and Eliana,
I agree with what you both said. I feel like i'm on "E" and needed a fill-up.
Shalini,
It's weird how it works like that. The hubs are there, but just beyond my reach. Finally i get to them and they seem in endless supply--until they run out again... its a viscous cycle!
Nevertheless I will still try to spit out two hubs a day.
Normally what I do when I get writers block is that I think of something (say a pillow) and then I think of something random (like sparkles) and write about that. OR... I just play with my cats. Cats are very inspiring creatures.
Hi Koby, thanks for mentioning my hub. I too get "stuck" sometimes and well, it just comes back when I don't force it. LOL :)

Good Luck!! I also find that sometimes I have several things I am burning to write about...then nothing.
