Frugal Gifts For Bachelors
62Without a doubt bachelors are always the hardest people to shop for. I know because I have one for a brother. Whenever his birthday comes I’m always at a lost as to what to buy. Can’t buy him gadgets because he already has a lot at home.
Can’t
buy the man him works of art, that’s not his interest. Can’t buy him clothes
as he’s got racks upon racks of it and all designer stuff at that.
Not that I’d have the budget for it. What I really need is a frugal
gift that he’ll appreciate. This is really tough!
A Bachelor’s Lifestyle
I know for a fact that he won’t
think much of household equipment and that’s because he doesn’t
stay at home that much. It’s more like “just sleeping quarters”
for him. Besides he has already stuffed the house full of appliances
and gadgets. Most of which are still brand new, for he has never used
them. He, the typical bachelor spends most his nights out with his buddies
after slaving the hours away in the office. He’s used to fine dining
and has been to almost all the restaurants in town. When he is at home
however, which sometimes miraculously happens, he’s going to be doing
either of these two things. Wake up very late with a hang-over or read
a book late into the night. Perhaps this sketches what most bachelors
would be doing at home and perhaps these can work as tips on what to
buy.
Frugal Gifts For Guys
What He Might Need
What two things would he need at this point? For the first one, he’d need a hot cup of coffee and for the other a book light. He lives alone so there’s going to be nobody around to go to the kitchen and prepare it for him. I know when he reads, he wants the light to be focused on the book his reading. The best thing to buy when looking for frugal gifts for bachelors then would either be a personal coffee maker which he can put on top of his side table or a book light. I know just where to get them. They’re good frugal gifts too, and the price for each is below $20.
Where to Get Ideas
There are many frugal gifts for guys that one can give to a bachelor after all. It’s just a matter of sitting down and thinking about what he needs. His own lifestyle and habits will offer great clues as to what to buy. The rest is research work. Shopping around is easy as pie on the internet.
